I think that Sam underestimates how retarded Daniel Larson is, and much property damage he can inflict. I have a feeling that Daniel could do way more property damage than Sam would expect, just look at the pink room after a single temper tantrum.

To be fair, the show has evolved passed to point of just being a torture house for random contestants. What makes it great is the combination of Hell House with lighter moments in between. The Hell House is the frosting to the cake. It adds to the quality, but in the end it isn't the main thing. If it was I think we would've seen a lot of contestants quit far sooner. Although I do share the same sentiments about Josie lol. Hell House or no Hell House she was a poor contestant either way.

It's almost impossible to tell what other people think outside of this thread. The reddit has zero discussion about it at the moment outside of "lol this gay retard wants to be on the show". The thread in /bant/ is filled to the brim with Josie and Letty posters simping for their queens. I just checked, it's all pictures of Josie. Twitter is a hivemind. The official website chat is filled with yes-men as you said, mostly because anyone who disagrees on the official site could easily get dogpiled by paypigs. They'll do anything to justify their $60 live chat.

Now that I think about it that might be why Jet hates this thread so much. It's the only place filled with in depth criticism from what I have seen. The show being called Fishtank is a strong hint that you watch fish and "poke the tank" or generally mess with them, eg with fish toys. With some exception, you don't typically walk up to a Fishtank to watch fish go at each other, you have to provoke them.
It's undeniable that having an army of paypigs behind you leads to staying power and I'd wager that earnings of each fish coincides with their overall placement for the top 4.
