If I was a contrarian I would have put him in C or D. Jon is solid B tier, Maybe A. He was great in the first third of the show then started to refuse doing challenges and then came back acting like a total egotistical asshole.

I know we're on Kiwifarms so this may seem unusual but I don't enjoy relying on certified retards being retarded to carry what was pitched to be some sort of "hell house." Everyone ends up subjugated and this includes the viewers. Fatty is similar.

The hell house aspect didn’t even factor in until the final stretch of the show. That’s on Jet and crew. I don’t think a lot of people remember how the first 1/3 of the show was an extended sleepover with occasional TTS.

Without Jon causing daily mass chaos it would have just been watching people sit on the couch or sleep. Vance and Sylvia get too much props because they were involved in a couple great bits. Vance had his schizo moment. And Sylvia had her intentional meld downs. But most the time they napped like Mauro.

Would be worth checking to see if they've been fixed. I'll look into it later, I know they were trying to clean it up a bit after the show. They're certainly a pain in the ass to parse without some tricks but proper organization can help with that.

You can at least use those torrents to begin drafting and taking rough notes.

It's hard to accurately rank freeloaders like Dontarius and Alex because of how short their time was on the show. Simmons for sure contributed more to the show but I like Alex and Dontarius better idk

Letty: Arc was great. Went from being disliked, to extremely disliked by mainstream audience. Overcame Letty hate and was a great underdog to root for. Even during the start of the show she was central to the war over Jon's friendship and the baby shaking arc. Only regret is she didn't get first prize.

Jon: Every major conflict, alliance, friendship, rivalry, and kino event was generally orchestrated around Jon for the first sixteen days. Every scheme going on between Damiel, Vance, Sylvia, and Letty was either to turn Jon away from people or to get them on their side. It is very easily arguable that he made Fishtank for his time on the show. Not S tier because he was booted on day 16, and when he came back he was an insufferable faggot. It's like he was buried in native American cemetery. Love him or hate him, he was the fish who started it all.

Fatty: Was annoying, but still arguably saved the show after the hell hole that was the camping arc. Plus he fell down the stairs, which everyone was hoping for.

Alex: Everything a freeloader should be. Had great interactions with the fish but never really overstepped boundaries and made you hate him. Had some great banter with Letty and was a key player in her arc.

Josie: Not a fan of Josie personally. She was still the face of the show and for that she deserves B tier. Was she babied? Absolutely. She had her moments though, such as the long walk challenge where she pulled through for a Vance elimination.

Vance: The only reason this man is mid B tier and not lower is because he was a unifying force of hatred in this thread. I will never forget his late night attempts to manipulate Letty only to be btfo'd. Some people say he was the "normal guy insert". And if every twitter fag watching the show was considered a "normal" member of society I would agree. He was fine as a contestant, I'm sure he would rank higher if he was pushed more by the crew.

Simmons: Still upset we missed out on Simmons camp counselor kino. High C tier, not because he was a bad contestant, but because he was on the show for such a short period of time. If he made it through day 9 I'm sure he would be somewhere in high B low A territory. Content machine, made Damiel want to kill himself.

Sylvia: Fat, boring, and sometimes really cringe. She and Letty got into some catfights so I guess that was a little entertaining. She also had late night chats that 3 viewers would tune into during the show. She pulled off the bare minimum of being an involved contestant, but she was a still involved.

Damiel: Drugged out all the time. Any type of conflict he made seemed forced. Only thing he is remembered for is being a loser that everyone hated on the show. Somehow left after 3 days because Jon hurt his feelings. Returned and did nothing besides try to intimidate a woman weighing 90 pounds soaking wet, AND LOST. Clearly he was looking for a place to crash.

Betty: This is what everyone claimed Letty was during the show. Psycho BPD chick who will literally whore herself out for attention. Accept Betty is unironically every single on of those things. I don't think any other Fish or Freeloader has stooped so low as to dump a helmet of their own piss on their heads for attention.

Mauro: Did nothing. Read Halo. His peak was when he snored in room B2 with Simmons. Left the show twice for retarded reasons. Argument with Jon was just two retards screaming at each other.

If people are still seeding its the only real alternative youve got. Its alright, has the same issues as the archive ever had, bad audio etc.
It gives you some options to use pre-tank setup footage as a way to introduce the concept, that could be interesting.
There is a moment with Sam activating the duck toy before they got people in the house that could be made part of building its significance in the early show. Then you have some loose footage of cameras being set up as well, some talking about the fish before they got there.

It would be cool to see the fan-version of season 1 and nobody has actually done it yet, so its something that's still 'on the table' even after all this time with just a few feature-length videos covering what happened as an alternative to what the crew is putting out themselves.

I get it probably got annoying to some people, but you need people like Frank and Letty to start shit, and people like Sylvia to react dramatically, and her braving the constant attacks on her weight and appearance right up until the end was really impressive to me.

And as a Letty fan, the chubby, extroverted, rockabilly front woman VS the skinny, awkward, fledgling e-girl from Canada was a super interesting arc to watch unfold in real time, and I liked that they made amends in Bedroom 2 before the PSAT results were announced.

I mentioned earlier that this was the moment that made me buy a season pass. I had already laughed my ass off at Jason's entrance on Day 1, Nick Camino psychologically tormenting Vance, and Jon's mustard stomp, but this had me on the floor.

I had an idea of making Letty the Season 2 entity. Spin a yarn to the contestants that a teenage girl killed herself in the house 20 years ago so it festers in their heads for a while, hide a diary or scrapbook somewhere a contestant would find it, then finally have the girl herself sneaking around and staring at contestants while they sleep in the middle of the night like four weeks in, played by Letty.
