US First Presidental Debate - Boomerdome 2020

Time: Starts at 6:10-6:30pm to 7:40-8pm PST / 8:10-8:30pm to 9:40-10pm CST / 9:10-9:30pm-10:40-11pm EST

Where to watch:

Location: Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland

Moderator: Chris Wallace, anchor of “Fox News Sunday”

Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Yeah, I'd seen a few people speculating on the Esteem implant. Thomas Wictor's pretty convinced that it's true, but I just avoided it myself because it's such an extreme possibility that unless someone could get Biden to dump his pockets and prove there's an implant control in there, I'm unwilling to go too far out on the "Democrats are so desperate that they forced an old man to get a skull implant to win the debates" branch.

I'll concede that it's a possibility, but extreme claims require extreme evidence. That being said, Joe Biden has had an awful lot of plastic surgery and Botox and who knows what else happen to his face over the past couple of years, to the point where 2020 Joe Biden looks significantly different from 2016 Joe Biden. He used to have a very distinct face, but now he just looks like a generic old man that's getting dangerously close to that "tight-faced alien" look men always get when they've had too much work done.

If it's because of the time it will be on in Euroland compared to US, yeah it should be on youtube after the debate takes place.
If it's because you don't have 'Murican cable channels, there are plenty of sites online where you can stream most cable TV channels for free. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate to say it, but maybe check the politics reddit, they usually have a megathread up where people post links you can watch from.

2020 has been the clownest of clownworlds so here is my prediction:

Biden pulls a Harrison Bergeron live on stage. Stripping off his jacket to reveal the IV pump strapped to his back that's been keeping him full of sedatives for the last several years and pulling the device free, he slams back a black coffee and vaults over the podium to grapple with Trump, and the live deathmatch for the fate of the Union begins.

Hillary got the questions in advance from Donna Brazille, and if anything it helped her career.
 
Anyone hear about the rules? Caught it on the radio that the moderator just isn't going to do much, he's gonna be "invisible", and the debaters will be allowed to take as much time as they need to explain their stances, this includes filibustering.

They're planning on passing off Biden's ramblings as him filibustering. This is gonna be a disaster. :story:

You're being awfully reasonable. I have so many alternating layers of aluminum and genuine tin foil on my head, I'm half expecting them to assassinate Biden during the debate with a schizo in a maga hat who isn't taken alive and his internet history is scrubbed so clean it Glows.

An Esteem earpiece isn't undetectable, though, which could be why Biden declined to have a medical examiner check his ears. It leaves distinct scars behind the ears and the implant can be felt against the skull, so even though it's completely subdermal, a medical professional could take a quick look behind his ears and poke the side of his head and go, "Hey wait a minute..."

All Trump has to do is get Biden to face him and ask him a nuanced question while staring him down. He’ll have to turn to the camera/observer to give a face read. Here, look at me Joe. Can you imagine how tough it’s going to be for those poor coal miners when you take away their livelihoods? That’s coal country out there. Yuge support for Trump.

Someone clearly isnt a hustler. Trump, Patrice o'neal, kanye west, jay z, diddy, lil b the based god, joshua moon. They all get theor best info from the streets.


Also imagine if trump does to Biden what Jamie foxx did to Doug williams.
 
Honestly let Joe have his drugs and his earpiece, it hasn't helped him like.... At all so far.

I can't think of a speech more than 3 sentences he hasn't had a S tier goof happen
