Shameless double-posting for the announcement of the last DLC wave set this April 5



The plot is pretty much alternate bizarro world (party members are villains & vice-versa) and with two new companions as fell dragons (who can transform as actual dragons)

For once, this might be actually worth buying.

I also won't be surprised if you wind up with nearly half of the characters within the main game, since I've seen two or three of them fighting for you.

半身 (han-shin) does mean the half of a body/a person but generally in the context of upper-half and lower-half (respectively 上半身 and 下半身).
Robin (in japanese, he's called Rufle) basically says they're both in the same ring to compensate each other's weaknesses but @The Zekenator described their relationship pretty well too.

Appreciate the response. Between yours and Zekenator's, it makes a lot more sense now. It does still seem a bit fujo-baity with the way their conversations are worded and phrased, at least with the ones I've personally come across so far.

Also, DLC looks pretty fun, can't wait to turn my whole army into fell manaketes with the power of mods.

Japan loves doing a little bit of gay bait, yuri bait is a very real thing too in my experience. Especially in gachas you'll see women pairs have some "are they in love!?" speculation around them. This isn't just coomers trying to coom either to two anime women kissing, the developers themselves try to bait this stuff where they'll make art of two women just looking deep into each other's eyes and the framing could be easily seen as romantic. Yet they're just "really good friends" the entire time. Yeah sure, I look at my friends just like this all the time.

Point is, unless someone actually kisses, fucks, or at least says I love you in a clearly romantic context it is all just bait to appeal to shippers. This isn't just weird localizers doing this either, this comes from the authors themselves a good bit of the time.

No. They're more like of the same clan of fox people and are childhood friends. They're more like one of the last of their kind from what I remember, so they stay close. They act like a family with the other fox people, but from what I remember no one is blood related.

It's pretty obvious when you see them describe grinding to max level one point at a time on a single map on a challenge they are very likely to repeat every run, sane people would have went insane after 5 minutes.

Lorenz truly gets all the pussy.

Doing my first playthrough as Golden Deer (chapter 18) and honestly surprised with how likable Lorenz ended up being. Ralph is another surprise MVP. Hell, I like all the class for the most part though Leonie does grate me with her Geralt obession, one of the reasons I enjoy her scenes with Ignatz, no harping on "master".
