I fucking can't stand Tharja but that is mostly because I fucking despise abusive parents with a passion.
t. Brainlet who didn't actually explore any of her supports with Noire or even remotely familiarized themselves with the Future Past DLC.

Or a couple of her romantic supports where it turns out that Tharja is actually a pretty great mom, especially to orphans, even though she's a bit autistic at expressing herself properly. Possibly because Plegia autism. Plegia seems to have that effect on people.

Nigga that was a rhetorical question and you know it. I haven’t touched Awakening.

Okay, name one thing that makes this girl decent.
See above.

I was addressing your rhetorical question in the headassery fashion it deserves.

Okay, so there’s two routes. What’s wrong with Celica’s again?
Alm is mainly out to kill off the prime minister of Zofia, try to punish Rigel for "invading" Zofia, turns out that this was an 8d chess move concocted by the Emperor and Mycen, which is actually explained. As for Celica, it really went downhill after she started an retarded argument with Alm over going to war against Rigel and blindly claims that the resident dragon milf will fix everything (which exactly one the points that the game is beating your head over). She doesn't find the dragon milf at the temple and starts to think that it was an good idea to listen to this creepy old guy who kept appearing in front of her.

Her friends even told her it was a bad idea but Celica went so far as to follow him to the creepy xenomorph hive lair in the bottom of duma's tower and let herself get demon possessed just to make life harder for Alm who had just killed his Father. Well more specifically Delthea or a mage character killed Emperor Rudolf on hard in my playthrough since he would body Alm every time, but the history books just say Alm did it.

Rudolph is hard coded not to attack Alm even if you initiate combat with him. If you try, a text box pops up saying "Rudolph refuses to attack".

Which honestly is really touching and adds a great layer of story telling especially when you get the reveal.

Okay simp.

All right, you win. I’m sorry.

But it's up to you to continue thinking what you want, I suppose.

Its frustrating that Fire emblem doesn't just have an Iron skull where if any unit of yours dies besides green team units, it just sends you back to the main menu. Other than of course getting the main characters killed. There's no way in hell you are going to clear most maps in a campaign with a lone underleveled unit.

I'mma be honest, there aren't a whole lot of fire emblem girls that deserve this kind of devotion. Like... if a story really speaks to you, all power to you. But, if you're looking for a game specifically for waifu worship, pretty much every yuzusoft game does it way better than fire emblem. Or maybe Rune Factory is better if you want an RPG with your waifu game.

Shit the only reason I backtracked was because the nigga wouldn’t stop being so goddamn mad :story: I’m like okay you got it

I damn near lost it when he pulled out “receipts” what the fuck

So what is all this sperging about a hector route in the binding blade? This is my first playthrough and got as far as chapter 6 with Roy. The maps are well enough designed so you can block off neutral units like cath with a police tape line from stealing all the loot on the map before your units can.

I missed weapon durability and unit inventory management as a trade off for echoes early game bullshit where most of my units had no equipment at all until act 3.

Also made some progress on the endgame for shadows of valentia. Seraphim literally lets you pray the gay away and body every undead in a single turn. Got the Royal shield in 1 turn after going back into the deliverance hideout at the behest of some schizo in the zofia throne room talking about an ancient evil re appearing there and then claiming that Alm is worthy when I came back.

Hector's route is a thing in Blazing Blade (FE7), not Binding Blade (FE6). It's basically the normal campaign of FE7, Eliwood mode, except 2 maps are replaced to fit Hector's POV, you get 4 extra maps (2 of which are optional, one requiring to start from a Lyn mode save) and 2 extra units. In hard difficulty it is the most difficult way to play FE7 but i wouldn't worry too much about it in your first playthrough since you only unlock it after beating Eliwood mode once, and it's more of a way to replay the game with some extras.

Blazing Blade is more fun randomized for me but Hector Hard Mode is the best mode in the base game imho.
No thanks. Hector does seem like a badass protagonist and much preferable over the direction the series took with awakening.

So far the earlier GBA titles seem to pale in comparison to how straight forward sacred stones was. A logical progression in quality given that game was the last GBA title. The one with Lyn starts off as a proto-awakening iteration with a player character and trying to roadblock and forcefeed you basic info so badly it reminded me of Rico from Megaman Dive. PLAYER SAMA!!!! (Did you know you have to press A on the enemy you moved your unit to in order to attack? Press A to open the menu! Now press A to attack!) with no option to skip. Fuck that noise.

Blazing blade is more fun and the design more heavily revolves around giving the enemy the ability to walk over mountains to ambush you. Roy seems to be hilariously oblivious to everything and letting anyone and everyone join his army to blindly march on the enemy capital. Even allowing the Evil Emperor's daughter to join them. But it has a shounen anime tone so I shouldn't think about it too much.

Sacred stones was my first introduction to the series and plays similar to Echoes but with weapon durability and not needing to wait until act 3 before you can give your units anything besides their bare hands to fight with. It also did a better job at illustrating just how apocalyptic the magic keeping the world safe actually was with how quickly the undead start to overwhelm Magvel. Though Its not perfect and its really easy to lose Erika/Ephraim early on. The glass cannons as they are.

No thanks to what, I was just saying that I find Blazing Blade more enjoyable when its randomized and that of the various modes Hector Hard Mode was the best of them, I didn't even say it in regards to Sacred Stones or Binding Blade, just in regards to Blazing Blade as a whole.

Sacred Stones is easily the best of the GBA era even if the Tower makes it kinda easy and the only one I can enjoy going back to without randomizers or challenge runs.

I just don't care for randomizers. Was trying to point out that I played the three GBA titles recently and started a playthrough of sacred stones on Hard. Going to pick Ephraim's route every chance I get.

See, I agree on principle, but I still think the implication here is dumb because I don't even waifu Tharja that hard. I just happen to like her and it's a very "retard who didn't actually bother to pay attention to the story" take to go "she sucks because abusive parent".

Then again, a lot of people have a lot of retarded takes when it comes to Awakening. Not that I think it's a masterpiece of a game nor is it even what I would call my "favorite" game in the franchise.
