Japanese trailer of the first base castle that you'll unlock.

Well, the various minigames got an chuckle out of me. But hey, it's look like IntSys dead set on catering to an certain demographic or two for the foreseeable future.

Basically My Castle from Fates on steroids. Really like all the different costumes each character has as well as their unique casual clothes (even if some do look a bit modern for my liking), and the different minigames shown. Only thing that rubs me the wrong way so far is the free gacha for JPG rings that seem to give stats to the main rings.
We also got a teaser for the Day 1 DLC and season pass with rings for the 3H lords (boosts the EXP you get) and Tiki (boosts your growth rates)

Eww gacha mechanics? Automatic pass
Well, it's not like you'll have to shill out actual money for them. It's just that IntSys is ran by Japanese equivalent of boomers; remember that this is the series that nearly died from their marketing strategy.

But shit like this is funny, though.

I sure would like some Hopes dlc

Did you heard that because they've put the soundtrack up for sale, people are insisting that there's no more DLC?

Those minigames are going to make the player waste 2 hours between each fight unless he is willing to either gimp his characters or lose entire gameplay mechanics.
Most of them are for minor stat boosts, only thing that I liked about it is that they've included an marathon mode against an army of illusions.

three houses makes you do it 4 times between each battle to get weapon ranks and into the classes you want (tied to chance) and also recruiting the characters you want (also tied to chance,) so losing out on a few bonus stats on your ring and support points seems pretty innocuous in comparison for the time being

Got two questions for the guys who’ve played Fates/3DS Fire Emblem:

Okay, so I’m still slowly but surely going through Birthright (on chap. 17. I think after I posted that question about Mozu, I said fuck it, did a hard reset, and just mowed through the rest of the chapters in 13:21 minutes because I skipped the main story and the supports). Gameplay is going smoothly because I’m on casual mode but I’d have to ask this:

You do have kids after you S support a character, right? If so, does it really matter who you choose or does it have to be specific just to have a desired ability? Because so far, I’m on the verge of having two potential s supports (Kaze and Jakob) and I’m not sure who to choose.

As for the second question, what’s objectively the best Emblem 3DS game? Thinking of what else to choose after Birthright.

I mean, technically you can S-Support anyone if you just want the child units, but if you care about min-maxing and optimization and all that then you might want to carefully consider who you pair with who so the child unit can get the best stats and skills. Child Units inherit the last skill currently equipped to both parents. So, if Kaze S-Supports Felicia, and Kaze is a lv. 5 Master Ninja and Felicia is a Lv. 15 Maid they will pass Lethality and Tomebreaker onto Midori. By using the Equip skills menu you can manipulate the order of your skills so you can make sure you pass on the most beneficial skill to a child.

But, again, you don't have to do any of that if you don't really care about gay number nerd shit.

As for best 3DS FE game, I kinda wanna go with Awakening. Echoes has great art, story presentation, voice acting all that, it's mostly just the maps and gameplay that are tiresome. Sure, Awakening maps are all rout maps on big open fields with nothing interesting going on, but I'd take that over Echoes maps where you trudge through poison swamps fighting a never-ending legion of Mogalls.

@Ben Laden, oh thank god. I don’t care about that shit at all or really child units for that matter. I’m mainly here for the shits and giggles.

I’ll keep those in mind. I’ve heard positive things about them.

@NerdShamer So mainly, meh? I debated getting Conquest just to see what everybody’s talking about (and I initially wanted to side with Nohr until I realized it’s pay-walled) but I dunno. I’ll see what I’m feeling like.
