I also personally detested the whole "Well we're friends, but I can't support him so I'm just going to fuck off from his life until he improves" grand standing I remember primarily Ghast doing, that just rubbed me the wrong way alongside the gap ops he was involved with.

Mix that in with actual suicide attempts, and it is not shocking that Mangs is seen sympathetically today. The gay ops to secure Mangs' conviction ironically turned against them, and "she's stealing my victimhood" Goose fucked her own case in the court of public opinion forever more alongside Chaz being a hypocritcal idiot when paired with his spergouts on twitter during his own allegations even further torpedoed the whole Mangs thing.

tl;dr: Gay ops to take down egg man set him free, leave gay ops to the professionals next time boys and girls.

His reponse to the Mangs section of the video is hot shit, but that isn't too suprising considering what he replies to on Reddit or even Serenes Forest in the political thread occasionally but it is still very stupid, with how he throws around "accountability" without really explaining what the fuck he means and talking about how We Need to Talk made him "physically ill".

He does offer a more balanced opinion on the Chaz part of the video, even though the 4th point is very vague and it would be nice if he could provide some proof about what the fuck he's talking about.

Not to mention, his credibility completely tanked when he went off Twitter and the "community" the first time the "accusations" came. He also pretty much admitted to the gravity of the allegations in his first Twitt longer (this was pretty retarded for him, I guess the pressure got to him and he couldn't think rationally at the time).

Did Goose and the other thots threw the allegations at Mangs knowing that he wouldn't do anything because of his mental state?

Being suicidal does not happen over night and it was pretty shady how everyone in his group of "friends" turned their back on him at the same time.

CyanYoh panicked and hastily tried to contact anyone who could get to Mangs IRL and supposedly Mangs was maybe a minute away from actually doing the deed before I believe his brother stopped him. Here's a screencap of CyanYoh admitting to the attempt and an archive

So even someone who is against Mangs stated with honesty and sincerity on the subreddit (who REALLY hates Mangs) that Mangs really was going to do a flip and that this was not typical limp dicked suicide baiting. This was a real plea for help.

Cyan (back in 2020 at least) basically believes Mangs betrayed him, as Mangs was his friend and employer, so learning his friend is a sexual assaulter and is about to get cancelled off YT puts Cyan in a weird and resentful position. Basically Cyan fell in line with most people and has the doubly whammy of losing his employment, but Cyan at minimum actually tried to give Mangs some sort of help before fucking off. Back then Cyan clearly resented Mangs for his actions, but he isn't the massive ass clown grand stander like Mekkah, Chaz, and Ghast are/were.

Beyond his intervention with his attempts at suicide, Cyan did spend time to try and get Mangs into therapy (this was stated in some old twit longer iirc). Cyan effectively felt he had to help Mangs get on the road to improvement before leaving, which you know is at least something compared to just ditching him and calling him a sexual abuser like Mekkah/Ghast/etc. I haven't kept tabs on Cyan at all so I don't know if anything has changed, but this is what I recall from him back when this drama was at its peak.

I watched a recent vod, and when Mangs saw Cyan in his chat, he called out to him in a friendly way. Might be one-sided on Mangs's end, so who knows?

Also, this Mangs shit is still going on? The asinine side of the community really needs a new game. Christ.

Mekkah reopened it with no noticeable provocation with a literal 2 hour essay about why Mangs hasn't suffered enough because his YT channel didn't die and how his suicide is being used to primarily garner sympathy.

Tellius reworks are the only thing that can stop Mangs, get on it IS so we can talk about literally anything else.
 
Has it been that terribly long since 3H? FE isn't my life, so maybe I don't have the autism needed for that perspective. I felt the community moved at a decent pace when people were seriously trying to discuss the game before it became about internet influencers and metagaming a single player adventure.
