Mangs and Roy have a lot in common. Namely that their mothers produced thin milk, making them pathetic additions to society.

At best, most FEtubers are boring people who make boring content about a somewhat niche franchise. Kinda wish people like Mekkah or Mangs made more videos specifically about units and what makes them strong or bad, or little details about their character you would only learn through supports that might just change your opinion on them. There's a reason those compilations of unit reviews on Mangs' channel are some of his most viewed videos. They even acknowledged in one of those that a lot of people say they only watch their playthroughs for the unit reviews.

People like talking about FE units and what makes them cool, because every player has a different experience with any given character. The support system sort of serves as an optional character development mechanic. Units you use a lot will build supports together, from which you might learn more about their past, motivation, personality or even see them grow as a character through those supports. Those supports will largely color your opinion of a character, because for most of the cast that's the only bit of character you're going to get out of them. Because these two units are now in love or best friends you don't want to see anything bad happen to them. You want to keep them alive and make sure they see the end of the war. That's the compelling character stuff in Fire Emblem, but most FE content on Youtube is just the 16th let's play of Blazing Blade on their channel alone or tier lists.

Yeah. Mangs have done Fire Emblem Unit reviews. His latest one was on Lythisea last I checked. That was a while ago. Honestly the ones I see from Faerghast are almost clickbaity titled vids on very hard to impossible to get weapons or some sorta list.

Yeah. As I said,the bar for FE Tubers is a very low one. Which is also why I find it funny how the community that divided itself is hurting now cause of their Wannabe #MeToo Fiasco a year back.
 
I think fire emblem gameplay is not very enjoyable to watch. I like playing but I would hate watching me play
Very few youtubers have enjoyable easy to get into gameplay like the bidding of isaac for example

They have to compensate with other things and the main thing viewers tend to get into is units. They love the story of some unit during playthought. The unit that was benched and then came back,the one that was blessed,the one that got the crits,the one that got reclass in funky class etc.
 
Decided to get Three Houses. Last Fire Emblem I played was Radiant Dawn. So far, I'm enjoying this and am glad there's an option to turn off permadeath. All the reloading in Radiant Dawn turned me off an otherwise great game.

Honestly, Three Houses is a pretty easy/forgiving game. Way more so than Radiant Dawn. You don't get BEXP to power level people, but the game is so generous with how many times you can use Divine Pulse to reset your turns backward to undo mistakes that playing on Hard-Classic is actually pretty doable, even for newer players.

Just always save before the new week starts. Problem solved and saves you the trouble of modding your Wii and using a trainer.
 
Just taking it easy and not trying to make everything perfect on the first playthrough. Only thing I'm save scumming is fishing.

I think it's because that there's only a handful of ways to actually play through a typical Fire Emblem campaign and that it's really one or two routes through them. Most of the fun comes from actually figuring stuff out as opposed to letting some random coomer do it for you.

Guess that explains why you can’t save Geralt, at least on a meta level.

I’m fine with with DP working this way tbh. Even if it were designed in a way that the RNG was scrambled in proportion to how far back you rewound time, you would still have a limited number of tries to get the result you want.

It's pretty good imo, it's Gaiden but with map design and mechanics more in line with Mystery of the emblem and Thracia, to if you are a completionist i might recommend to play with a guide in hand since there is a ton of hidden events between the 2 routes, some even being mutually exclusive with each other.
