Isn’t that Anne-Rushing to recruit Ingrid before things get fucky. My waifu Mercedes needs her best friend on the right side of history.
Autism ahead, rate accordinglyIsn’t that Anne-
Mercedes mentions Ingrid a lot. But also Annette. I think they all scissor or something. Plus I already recruited Annette because Annette is easy.Isn’t that Anne-
That was the basis of my jokeif Mercedes and Annette are at B-Rank it’s entirely possible they were doing that stupid “not talking to each other” thing for the entirety of the timeskip
I’ll be the first to admit I don’t always get jokes in text form - it’s sorta like with sarcasm, it tends to lose something. That was the basis of my joke
@Berrakh should have known better. We are all autists.I’ll be the first to admit I don’t always get jokes
In fairness, Divine Pulse is more of an emergency “Oh Shit, I Fucked Up, ABORT!” button more than anything else, especially since you can go all the way back to the start if any battle in One Pulse - I’ve legitimately gone entire playthroughs without using the thing more than once (usually Ashe and Catherine’s Paralogue in case I over extend and get motherfucked in the Fog, any of the Ashen Wolves Paralogues because compared to the base game ones those ones are a right kick in the teeth, or in Anna’s Paralogue because fuck that quest with a cactus.)Also 40 hours into this NG+ playthrough and I just figured out what Divine Pulse does. I've played this game twice already. I thought that whatever it was, that its charges were per-playthrough, not per-battle.
True. I’ve never done anything autistic…@Berrakh should have known better. We are all autists.
Wait... one charge can roll back an entire battle? I thought it was one charge per turn-rolled-back. I think I have almost ten charges, maybe more.In fairness, Divine Pulse is more of an emergency “Oh Shit, I Fucked Up, ABORT!” button more than anything else, especially since you can go all the way back to the start if any battle in One Pulse - I’ve legitimately gone entire playthroughs without using the thing more than once (usually Ashe and Catherine’s Paralogue in case I over extend and get motherfucked in the Fog, any of the Ashen Wolves Paralogues because compared to the base game ones those ones are a right kick in the teeth, or in Anna’s Paralogue because fuck that quest with a cactus.)
Yeah, Divine Pulse is not balanced at all - one charge can roll you back as far as you want, it’s hilariousWait... one charge can roll back an entire battle? I thought it was one charge per turn-rolled-back. I think I have almost ten charges, maybe more.
It would be a lot more fair if that was the case. Was almost certain that IS would do that after feedback from SoV, guess not.In fairness, Divine Pulse is more of an emergency “Oh Shit, I Fucked Up, ABORT!” button more than anything else, especially since you can go all the way back to the start if any battle in One Pulse - I’ve legitimately gone entire playthroughs without using the thing more than once (usually Ashe and Catherine’s Paralogue in case I over extend and get motherfucked in the Fog, any of the Ashen Wolves Paralogues because compared to the base game ones those ones are a right kick in the teeth, or in Anna’s Paralogue because fuck that quest with a cactus.)
Annette is moist for Mercedes and the male Byleth (for giving quality life advice, for some reason); while Dorothea is the one who makes an move on Ingrid.Mercedes mentions Ingrid a lot. But also Annette. I think they all scissor or something. Plus I already recruited Annette because Annette is easy.
Because you can't fight fate and if you do, people like Thales shows up to cockblock you and subsequently laugh at you. Although, this would be a decent time to use it.That said, gave me a chance to sperg - seriously, why wasn’t Divine Pulse used more in the story proper, even if just as a Blooper Reel for NG+?
Mercedes is marrying my girl Byleth. End of discussion.Annette is moist for Mercedes and the male Byleth (for giving quality life advice, for some reason); while Dorothea is the one who makes an move on Ingrid.
Dedue joins you in the next chapter if I remember correctly so he's either dead or separated from the crewAnd honestly, I was half-expecting Dedue to take the dive; but the at least Rodrigue lived up to his title as the Shield of Faerghus.
He rejoins on the bridge map, which is right before this one and it's kind of weird in terms of the plot. Like he knew that Dimitri will be assaulting a bridge that belongs to the Alliance on that particular day. Although, it would make more sense to see him in the city.Dedue joins you in the next chapter if I remember correctly so he's either dead or separated from the crew
Yeah, but it's kind of weird to imagine how people can fall in love with an (mostly) emotionless guy who knows how to say the right things.@NerdShamer Kind of agree with Serene. But it does give you added insight into that student’s disposition when they are totally in love. Without other S ranks, and without a personality they have to work off of, this is a pretty unvarnished view.
"well, women do love winners, don't they Halligan?"Yeah, but it's kind of weird to imagine how people can fall in love with an (mostly) emotionless guy who knows how to say the right things.
But stranger things have happened, though.
