IIRC it was the only AW game made by a western studio and it never officially released in Japan. Its also funny how “Intelligent defense Systems” is the main antagonist faction mass producing clones with no concern about casualties or destruction and why I suspect it never got a sequel since japanese are incredibly anal over saving face. Sounds very much like modern IS to me. Lol
What? No it wasn't.

Apparently Mekkah is okay with known liars and professional victims to collaborate with.

Also,Goosaphone's sub count went down from 7k to 6.99k.
Nice.

The FE Youtubers are going out with a whimper.
At this point it doesn't really matter whether Mangs did it or not, the horrendous response from Goose's circle made it so no one would want to stick up for them. (I remember seeing even other girls who were accusing Mangs of harassment denouncing Goose lol)
Then when they ran defense for Chaz it was just more proof that it was more about being on the right side.
That more than the allegations is is why the community cannibalized itself and has never recovered. (except Mangs funnily enough)

After everything that went on then as well as the jannie mood people part of this drama are partaking in regards to these accusations,I am glad most FE Tubing Channels just fucked themselves over cause of said drama.

Every year without a Fire Emblem game is a year these fuckers starve for content. As I mentioned earlier.

Get fucked.

I don't think any of those have covered KagaSage yet. Which is kinda strange considering how popular it is.

Anyway I had once this crazy idea. What if somebody made fire emblem roguelike. Each playthrough you get randomly generated units, with different stats, classes and randomly generated maps. I kinda thought about genaology styled feature, that when you die with your lord but they have lover, you can save yourself and play as his child and go though same maps but with some twist to them. Maybe even have some GAN or other magic computional shit to generate custom portraits for characters and having children similar portraits to parents etc.

The catch is that all of this is easier said than done and randomly generated maps are kinda hard to make enjoyable as anybody who played randomizer with enemy reclass knows. However it is still very cool idea to think about. When I'm looking at games like FE4/5 I see that people who were making it wanted to include so much more, but they were limited by hardware. Now we have computers thousand times more powerful so possibly we could pull up all that shit that people were dreaming of.

Honestly that sounds like a good idea on paper.
But as you said, random generated maps can easily get fucked and drains any fun. I would think that each child character should have some stat bonuses depending on the stat thresholds passed by said parent. The higher the threshold the more stats you get for that said stat for the child.

I do wonder how stat growths and caps will work around possibly high bases cause of well optimized play.

Just finished replaying 3H.
I did a Black eagle run with only magic again it was still fun.

The rules were simple:

-Only use magic and magic weapons/combat arts (gambits are allowed)
-Past the prologue and chapter one you can only use training weapons (no magic before that and some units don't have magic yet)
-No recruit in other houses (faculty, yuri and post timeskip Lysthea allowed)

It was quite fun to have such an unbalanced team and finding ways to make it work was quite fun.
I can show my team if you want.

I also did a black eagle women and flyers only. For Golden deer I did a bow and player phase only.

I think I will try a blue lion armor only next time

Good luck on oath of the dagger with the gremories.

Anyone played through Berwick Saga?

It is amazing how different it is designed from the contemporary Fire Emblem-like title.

The use of shields being more prominent to reduce damage at the cost of extra weight as well as the weapon sub-types and how each weapon type acts very differently from each other. The lances using your units movement used each turn to increase damage is one such feature as well as daggers not using the basic damage formula traditionally to do damage up to the strength stat as a cost for extra injury rates. That and how the capture system works and how necessary it is for optimal play.

Granted stat min/maxers may have issues as basic stats hardly ever grow but weapon skill as well as skills and equipment play a larger role than raw stats.

Honestly there is too much for me to put into one post.

I only watched around 5 minutes of Mangs playing it. It certainly looks different, but the first level isn't really that interesting in terms of dialogue.

I am surprised there is apparently just now a translation patch is any. I have watched a Let's Play of the full game and they made optimizing look too easy compared to how most people fumble through the game. The use of Mount and Dismounting is also used a lot along with using Base Stats moreso than growths.

I actually finished playing the game a week ago and i really liked, to it's a kind of hate/love kind of thing because of my pseudo completionist nature of wanting to get most of the characters/secrets of the game, which in this game (and most Kaga games) means having to prepare stuff multiple chapters in advance in the worst cases, which puts me on edge but it feels really rewarding when you pull something like say, killing Chaos in chapter 3. Probably one of my favorite gameplay features is how most characters have a unique niche to fill in certain maps (except Derrick because lol) and how the game encourages you to cycle through multiple characters depending on the objectives and enemies you encounter on the map. I also really liked the story, even if the pacing felt like it goes from really slow to breakneck fast around the end, i am a sucker for how the world feels so fleshed out to the point you could perfectly make a game following the adventures of some the NPCs you find (It also really makes me think if the theory of Kaga leaving behind some notes at IS is true or not considering how similar it can be to the Tellius games at times). To i wonder how much changes did the fan translation did to the original story considering it was done by the same guy who did the TRS translation and who stated that his was more of a "fan localization" since it changes some plot points (some where good like some small inconsistencies in the og script, others rewrite the story more and even the guy said he regretted some of the changes he made) and changes a bunch of item and skill names to be more "recognizable for FE fans" (that said, even if i disagree with the guys policy, i still like it miles better than the stuff treehouse or the guys who published Vestaria outside Japan did).

Yeah. I know a certain axe requires a decent death toll to be filled to even get it and that is Heresy to most FE vets.

As for translation yeah it is a toss up as translation is a very rough process especially when you have shit like context and grammar be alien to non-native speakers.

They will like the puppets for my magic team. A hard counter I need to bypass.
At this point in the game I would have access to 2 dance battalion and plenty of strides. I should be able to deal with it by rushing

I dealt with the puppets by breaking the armor with gambit or just avoiding them btw.

I am post-timeskip of my armor and my team is looking pretty good since I've been pretty clever with my team composition. Also for the first time great knight feels like an upgrade since it allows units not to be footlocked anymore in my challenge run I can show my team if you guys want.

All in all it's a lot more fun than playing maddening
