It's moments like this that I hate how exclusive these units are since the lack of IV's really hurts their true potential.

These stats are amazing and if Linus had IV investments/max merges he could potentially be one of the most powerful "Duelists" in the game given his incredible physical bulk and speed. And that's pretty impressive and rare for his type since Axes are pretty notorious for being either massive tanks or one-rounding slayers.

Marisa and Valentine Eliwood are similar examples of this, thought Eliwood is actually fairly powerful on armor teams.

Nowi with refined Lightning Breath for BLyn for the "range=2 damage calculated with lower of def/res" effect and QR
Literally any red mage for BIke
Female Robin for the blue cavalier (and backup for BLyn, hell, she could tank BLyn on her own)
anything for the Stave, they aren't that difficult to kill

Legendary Hector (axe armor)

Legendary banner will be *% for 5 star and 0% for other 5 star.

units that will appear in the banner:

Red:
Legendary Ike
Winter Tharja
Leif

Blue:
Legendary Ephraim

Myrrh

and Legendary Robin

alright. gave the legendary banner some pulls. got some good 5*

i got legendary hector (-atk +spd) :( oh well, his attack is still quite high, and the spped boon will keep him from getting doubled from some units.

i got christrmas tharja twice, ( both+hp -def) :( another bad IV. atleast she's still pretty good with the high res stat. i'll keep one to fodder her vengeful fighter for one of my armor units.

i got legendary ike (-hp +def) i merged him to my better ike. he's +4 now. :D

and i got leif (+hp -res) kinda ok IVs.

since i have all the units ive been hoping for. im done with the banner now.

Also new update soon, Katarina, Titania, and Nephenee are getting new weapons, Eldigan is getting Dark Mystletainn, new “training” mode, new “completed quests” dialogue box appears after you’ve done a quest in battle, among other things

yes. New weapons.

Katarina will get a tome called Reese's Tome (Reese is her real name)

Titania will get an axe called Draconic Poleaxe.

Nephenee will get a lance called Dauntless Lance. i was expecting her to get the Wishblade to be honest.

Eldigan can upgrade mystletainn to dark mystletainn, which is used by his son, ares. i was expecting this to happen.

very interesting update. i just promoted my Titania for her PRF.
 
In case people who aren't paying attention to the meta don't realize, Hector is now a Top 3 character 3 times, effectively making all 3 versions of him the best character in the game.

I almost feel like this is a sick joke that InSys is playing on us given that mages continue to get weaker and Hector (all of them) just gets more powerful the longer the game goes on. Thank God for the dumb-ass over-powered sword users in the top tiers because otherwise countering him would just be a massively overcomplicated task that this game doesn't need. (Also, thank you Winter Tharja, bless up.)

at this point, i think they should demote some 5* exclusives like ninian, katarina, leo, ryoma, elise, mist, olwen, and pretty much any character that got more than one alt.

especially hector. since takumi got a 4*, he should too.

Mist not being demoted despite being a terrible unit is just salt on the wound since you'll probably never pull her enough to warrant merging.

Much as I like the idea of the pools being updated, some of the units still listed as 5* are too powerful or have too much of a niche to warrant the demotion. We got away with Nowi and Effie since they're no longer unique in their roles, but it's still quite telling that they're still among the most powerful units in their respective roles. Units like Ryoma, Elise, and Olwen are already uniquely strong and while Olwen being outclassed by Rienhardt might make you think it's a good idea to demote her, the last thing the meta needs is easy access to another Brave Tome user, especially since she her far superior speed nearly guarantees her quads with the right build. (And all the perks that come with it.)

Units having Alts isn't too big of a deal anyways since a majority of them are exclusives. The limited availability is offset by the chance of you still pulling 5*s that are worth pulling, like Ryoma for example.

hey guys. so the new summer banner came.


i rolled alot of orbs on this. and got alot of 5*s :D

i got mage eirika (+Atk -Def) on my free summon. her IV is perfect so i merged my other one with this.

i got Ike (+atk -def) i foddered his aether to my masked lucina.

i got tana twice (-atk +def and -atk +res) :( i merged one to the better one

i got hinoka. (-HP +Res) this one has better IVs so i merged my other one with this.


and now the focus for the banner

i got summer young tiki (+Atk -HP) perfect IVs

Summer Camilla (-HP +Res) crap IVs. :(

and i got Summer Takumi (+Def -Res) IVs are meh.

i guess im done with the banner. now and im pretty prepared for the Tempest Trial now.
 
I haven't rolled on many of the latest banners in Fire Emblem: Blue Balls, so I just completed the latest paralogue and went back to Granblue Fantasy and Fate/GO. Pretty much what I have been doing for the past 15 months of playing.
