so there have been a bunch of banners these past months.

also. the new gamemode. seer's snare is really fun. iof you bring in the right units with the right amount of investmen. you'll start feeling like a god in the gamemode.

back in may there was a fallen heroes banner.


Maria (Styaff infantry) in new mystery of the emblem. she was captured along with lena, nyna, and elice by gharnef and was put under his mind control. they were used to resurrect medeus and intended to be used as sacrifices to bring medeus back to full power, but marth and kris and their party came to rescue and minerva and michalis (if he is recruited) save maria and free her from medeus' mind control.

Female Byleth (Sword Infantry) in three hopes. she is possessed by sothis and goes on a rampage, shez had to fight her.

Anankos (Blue Dragon Armor) from fates. he is the true main villain and true final boss of fire emblem fates. being the main villain and final boss of the revelation story. he is the king of valla and hbe is the one responsible for the war between hoshido and nohr, using garon as his puppet. he even controlled takumi in the conquest story. when corrin and his/her sibling reached valla, he resurrected arete, mikoto, scarlet, and sumeragi as his puppets to slow him down but failed. when they reached the palace, ryoma, xander, leo, and takumi's weapons react to corrin's yato and it turns into the omega yato, the fire emblem of their world. anankos summons garons and absorbs his power of nohr's dragon to become even stronger and fought corrin and his/her army. in the end, anankos was defeated and his anger was laid to rest.

i honestly thought he would be a mythical hero.

and the rearmed unit is Chrom from awakening. he came from lucina's future where he was slain and resurrected as a risen by grima. he never shows up in awakening and is not canon. this originates from his cipher card like fallen ike

his voice actor matthew mercer is voicing ganondorf in zelda tears of the kingdom.

and the GHB from this banner is Linus (Axe infantry) from the blazing blade. after fighting eliwood, lyn, and hector's army, he fled. he was attacked and killed by Limstella and his qintessence was harvested. in the final battle where eliwood, lyn, and hector fight nergal at the dragon's table. Linus, along with his brother lloyd, their father brendan, ursula, uhai, and others were resurrected as morphs by nergal to aid him in the final battle against the heroes. nino, jaffar, and legault fought the morph linus and the other morphs and killed them, and linus, along with his brother and father, were laid to rest.

Guinivere (Colorless Tome Infantry) from the binding blade. she is the princess, now queen, of bern and the younger stepsister of zephiel. after roy and his army defeated idunn and sent her to arcadia to be healed, gunivere became the new queen of bern.

she is voiced by erika harlacher, who also voiced nott in heroes. she did the voice of ann takamaki from persona 5

and i wanted to say this about kempf

Kempf is from thracia 776. he is general and member of friege's royal family. he is jealous of reinhardt and hates olwen. in chapter 11, he taunts olwen and insults her brother reinhardt, provoking her on purpose into attacking him so he can label her a traitor and use her as hostage to force her husband fred to fight leif's army to the death. it didn't work, so kempf used fred as bait to have both fred and leif killed by ballitae, that also didn't work, when leif captured dandrum fortress, kempf abandons his men and runs from the fight, but not before telling his men to commit a "Murder Hollace" which means fight to the death. in chapter 16A at the norden line, he is harshly criticized by Nicolov for his cowardly behavior and he is given very strict orders to not leave his postion at the bridge for any reason. olwen later goes out and confronts kempf. she calls him out on his cowardice, telling him that he relies on his men to do all the work and runs away from battles when they don't go in his favor and telling him he will never compare himself to reinhardt and he will never leave his shadow. her words throw kempf into a rage. to the point where he abandons his post to charge at leif's army and orders his men to do the same. this turned out to be a trap leif and olwen made to lure kempf out and he took the bait hook, line, and sinker. kempf fights them and was defeated and was either captured or killed by them, depending on leif's choice.

peony's ascended side story is going on now for the next tempest trial events. let's hope peony and triandra get really good ascended alts. given they're flying dancers, they'll probably get something insane.

Update: the Mythic was indeed Freyr :feels: he seems to be a decent tanky beast, I have yet to summon him due to shittt rng

This month the theme will be Tea time instead of Pirates. 3H and Genealogy to be featured. Sigurd, Tailtiu, Ayra with Mercedes backpacked, Ferdinand and Lysithea.

Brave Female Corrin (Colorless Dragon Armor) very great stats for an armor unit. her weapon is a slaying breath and can inflict atk/spd/def/res -5 top her foe and also has null follow up and reduce foe's attacks by 30%. she can also inflict the divine stone terrain effect. a helpful function from fates. her prf skill gives her DC, a really great skill for bulky Ep armor tanks. she has a/s far save which is great for defending allies and the new skill she has counter roar helps her tanks kore and reduces damage from foes. her stats and skills make her a very incredible tank.

this corrin is from the revelations story. after defeating anankos. she ended the war between hoshido and nohr and she becomes the queen of valla. ending the conflict completely.

Brave Soren (Green Tome Infantry) his weapon gives alot of support effects to himself and his allies like spectrum effecvts and allyu bonus douibler. he also has the dragon wall effect. a nice reference to the fact that his mother is a dragon laguz. a new special. Flare. which cna calculate damage from foe's res and heal him, but its restricted to only infantry mages. his prf skill true talent give +7 to his stats and disables adaptive damage and give his effects if his res is hjigher than his foe. like half temp and brave effect. there's also his assign decoy effect. which gives his melee allies the savior effect like armor units but any melee regardless of move type can get it to defend him.. he has time's pulse 4. great skill for infantry units. and another new skill called mag. null follow, which inflicts spd-res on foe and null follow up and reduces foe's damage reduction effects by half. these skills make brave soren a really good mage unit. he'll shred many foes to pieces. and flare and mag null follow are really great skills to have on your other infantry mage units. since flare got added. i'm hoping we will get to see Impale and Colossus get added as specials too for infantry lance and axe units.

this soren is from radiant dawn and is dressed like the arch-sage class. in radiant dawn's new game plus, if pelleas is spared and some conditions in the story are met, it turns out pelleas is not ashnard and almedha's child. and at the end of the game, almedha and her brother kurthnaga find out that soren is ashnard and almedha's true son. she cried tears of joy knowing he's alive. if ike and soren's support is complete, soren decides to leave with ike on another adventure.

Brave Gullveig (Blue tome flier) her weapon is a slaying tome with canto 1. gives +5 to all stats in combat givesd +x atk/spd depending on number of turns and does true damage from 20% of her spd stat. and has null follow up. her prf skill Gold Unwinding inflicts spd/res -5 on her foe and reduces damaghe from foe's first attack by 60% if gullveig initiates combat, plus she gets the galeforce effect like edelgard, but gets hit with gravirty like legendary leif's special. thew new A skill on her is flared sparrow. if she initiates combat, inflicts 7 damage to foe at the start of combat and atk/spd +7 during combat and inflicts the divine flame on the tiles centered on the foe. another terrain effect lik brave corrin's divine stone effect. and she has atk/spd oath 4. these skills make Brave gullveig a deadly player phase mage. and flared sparrow will be very useful on other units as well.


and Brave Male Robin ( Sword Infantry) his weapon gives him +3 spd and full tempo effect and +5 to his stats in combat and 40% DR from foe's first attack. and he can nullify foe's DR effects when his special is ready and has adpative damage with bonfire and ignis. he has atk/spd finish 4, a really good skill. his prf skill isd tip the scales, which can give rally spectrum to him and his allies and get spectrum +5 to their stats. a really good skill from awakening. and he can teleport to an ally with rally spectrum in 5 spaces. the new skill on him is gambit 4. which inflicts spd/def -4 on foe in combat and if his special is about to trigger, it calculates the damage from how long it charges and reduces damaghe from attacks and area of effect specials. these skills make him a very mobile, very supportive, very powerful, and very swift sword unit.

we got another round of serious game changers. i hope the cyl 5 units get awesome refines when they come as well.

Imo Gullveig is the truly winning unit of this banner. Though for new players/casuals and the players who have no save tanks Corrin would be the best option.

I don't particularly liked any of them but I guess there's plenty of people happy. /feh/fags got the SensorTower results and the banner reached S tier.

CYL next year will be intense.
 
next new heroes banner. from gen 2 of genealogy of the holy war.


the ascended hero is Ced (green tome infantry) . he is the son of lewyn and erinys and the older brother of fee and the heir to his father's and family's tome Forseti. he resents his father for failing to return to sileese and erinys after the battle of belhalla. after Julius and loptous were defeated, Ced takes the throne of sileese and become its king.

Febail (blue bow infantry) he is the son of brigid and the older brother of patty, the nephew of edain and the cousin of lester and lana and the heir to his mother's and family's weapon, Yewfelle, he grew up with orphans and took to mercenary work to provide for them. he was hired by bloom but defected to seliph's army after running into patty and being told of his lineage from lewyn.

Fee (Sword Flier) she is the daughter of lewyn and erinys and ced's younger sister and the princess of sileese. like ced, she resents her father for failing to return. she traveled with arthur.

the rearmed hero is Plumaria (Blue tome flier dancer)

the free unit that we will be getting 2 5* copies of is Patty (colorless dagger infantry) she is the daughter of brigid and febail's younger sister and lester and lana's cousin and edain's niece. she grew up with orphans like her brother but turned to thievery instead of mercenary work like her brother to provide for them. she was raiding a shrine and found balmung and gave it to shannan, they later regrouped with seliph to aid him.

and the grand hero battle is Arion (Lance Flier). he is the prince of thracia and Travant's son and the heir to his father's and family's lance, the Gungnir. in thracia 776, he sent his retainer Deen to protect Lionan ijn Tahra, after Tahra was saved, Linoan decides to escape with leif, arion expresssed interest in meeting leif and wondered if he is an ally or enemy. in genealogy of the holy war, arion knocked out altena after she met leif and finn and discovered her heritage and confronted travant. after travant was killed by leif and finn in battle, arion sent altena to join them and told her that they are enemies now. at the end of the chapter, arion fights the liberation army. seliph, leif, and altena tried to reason with arion and get him to stand down, but he refused and fought them and was defeated and julius appeared and teleported him away. in the final chapter, Altena discovers that arion entered the battle with his wyvern squad. she was able to catch up to him and she successfully got him and his soldiers to defect to the liberation army. after julius and loptous were defeated, arion marries altena.

Timerra (lance infantry) from engage. she has bonus doubler 4, spurn 4, times pulse 4, and vital astra. great skills to have on speedy infantry units.

Flayn (Staff cavalry) from three houses. she has holy pressure and atk res unity. good skills.

Seadall (red tome infantry) from engage.

annd the harmonized duo heroes is anna from engage and anna from awakening.

and the tempest trial unit is Kellam (sword armor) from awakening. he's a member of the shepherds.

nice to see that we're getting more characters from engage.

also. the weapons we've been getting are getting nutty. @HIVidaBoheme Arion'a weapon is BUSTED. his weapon has Iote's shield, +3 def, gives himself and flying allies charge and atk/def +6 for one turn, can make guaranteed follow ups, and deals damage from 15% of his def stat. he's a GHB unit you should definitely merge and invest in. the other unit with that same charge effect is legendary hinoka.

the axe refines are also getting good. Echidna's weapon is one of the best. she basically can reduce foe's first attack by 30% and she can attack weith the amount of damage she tanked. this can stack with other DR effects. so give her a b slot DR skill like close call or spurn and spd smoke 4. she will be able to tank more damage and fling all that damage she tanked right back at her foe. her weapon is incredible.

ross got an okay one. the dual brave effect and he can deal damage from 15% of his HP stat. and his atk and def stats haver +4 assets. so change it to one and ascend the other. give him g dual infantry 4 and he'll do alot better in arena and pawns of loki.

yeah. its a shame it still gives a setback to his spd. but i guess if you increase it with merges and dragonflowers and give him null follow up in b or seal slots, he can quad the slower foes.

and echidna's only weakness now are units with weapons, skills, and specials that can bypass DR effects. units with specials like deadeye and lethality and Diamant's weapon can ignore DR effects.
 
next banner has been revealed. its from Echoes: Shadows of Valentia


the Rearmed hero is Sonya (Green Tome infantry) she is the daughter of jedah and marla and hestia's younger sister. when her sisters were offered up to duma by their father, sonya swore revenge on him. she worked with grieth and later joined celica after grieth was slain. she confronts jedah later in the story and in the final battle, avenging her sisters. after alm and celica defeated duma and united valentia, sonya disappeared and later took up residence in nuibaba's abode on fear mountain.

Mycen (Lance Cavalry) he is a veteran soldier of zofia and known as zofia's greatest hero and a close friend of alm's father rudolf.. he took care of alm and celica in ram village, but was forced to take celica to novis priory and put her in nomah's care after they and alm survived an encounter with Slayde. after that, he raised alm and trained him to be a hero throughout his childhood, along with his friends gray, tobin, kliff, and faye. after alm defeated rudolf, mycen revealed to him the truth. rudolf gave him to mycen and asked him to raise him to protect him from the duma faithful, he later joins alm. after duma was defeated, mycen becomes the new chancellor of zofia.

and now the new kinds of special heroes called attuned heroes.

attuned Peony (Axe Flier Dancer)

and Attuned Triandra (Sword Flier Dancer)

the GHB unit is marla (red tome infantry) and the free unit we will be getting with two 5* duplicates is hestia (blue tome infantry) they are sonya's older sisters. their father jedah abandoned them at a priory when they were children. when they came of age, jedah offered marla and hestia to duma and gave them power, but they were cursed into witches, and sonya vowed revenge on jedah for what he did to them. alm and the deliverance fought marla at fear mountain and hestia at rigel falls. they were both defeated and retreated. they fought alm and celica and their armies in the final battle alongside their father. sonya fought them and ended their suffering.

we almost have all the playable units from gaiden/echoes:sov. all that's left now is jesse and nomah. and ghb battles for desaix, slayde, nuibaba, and jedah.

Legendary Dimitri and Plumeria are the next legendary and mythical heroes to get remixes and refines.

Altena is getting a refine. i'm hoping it's good. i just got her to +10 a couple months ago.

Flame Emperor is the next heroic grails unit to get a new weapon. she's currently on my merghe and invest list. hoping she gets something good too.

osian and mamori are getting new refines for their weapons

and young marth is getting a new weapon called Brilliant Rapier. appearently they're just gonna give young marth a new weapon with a refine instead of just refining rapier so Phina doesn't get a refine in this update because shes a regular summoning pool dancer, and yet plumeria is a dancer and getting a refine because shes a mythical hero. wow IS.

well. young marth better get something good. he's the only event/seasonal hero i have at +10

sheena got her resplendant. looks great. she was one of the best armor units players would use to get higher scores in arena back then. you can give her a near save skill. her weapon still holds up since its slaying axe and the refine is a guard effect. but many players would prefer an arcane axe instead.

OG Fir is the next unit to get a resplendant. her weapon is outdated, a slaying sword and refine is +10 damage when special triggers. many players would prefer an arcane sword instead.

what would also be nice is since they introduced attuned units, they should increase the inherit skill limit..

Everyone has been saying this since the introduction of 4 stage skills. Zero chance of that since it promotes whaling and their jewery will not let them concede.

But would be nice since the model has been putting in shit waifu of the month combat manuals with 3 skills that are 4 stage
 
the new special heroes banner has come. and it's the ninja theme


Zelgius from radiant dawn. (lance armor)

he is voiced by Robert clotworthy, who also voices finn. he is famous for voicing jim raynor from the starcraft series.

Heather (green dagger infantry) from radiant dawn

the 3/4* unit is Reina (green bow flier) from fates.

and the duo unit is sanaki ands micaiah (red tome cavalry) from radiant dawn. really good skills. basically just like duo ninja corrin and elise but a red tome cavalry instead.

and tempest trial unit is saizo (lance infantry) this is the first time saizo is getting an alt.

now the new refines

Altena got an okay one. she can now inflict the atk/def debuff on flying enemies if her hp is above 50%, she can also now do guaranteed follow ups and do true damage based on how much def she has and neutralize debuffs on her atk and def.

flame emperor got a good one. her weapon is a guard axe and inflicts atk-7 and sabotage on foes within 3 rows and columns and do guaranteed follow ups. this will help her tank more damage and do better damage.

young marth's new weapon and refine is good. he has bonus doubler 4 on him like brave marth and true damage based on 156% of his spd stat. i'd say give him special; spiral 4 because it pairs really well with his weapon's vantage effect.

legendary dimitri and plumeria got very good remixes.

and osian and mamori got good ones too. it will help them tank alot better.

The blazing blade.


The rearmed unit is Giunngagap (colorless savage cavalry) she is the main villain of peony and triandra’s tempest trial story. And we how have a rearmed dagger. All that’s left now is a rearmed staff.

Here’s to hoping Reginn gets a good alt in her TT story next year.

Isadora (Lance cavalry) she is a knight of pherae and a bodyguard of eliwood’s mother, Eleanora and also a follower of the church of Elimine. She is also harken’s fiancé and she also formed a friendship with legault.

Harken (sword infantry) he is a knight of pherae and isadora’s fiancé. He used to be a mercenary until he was taken in by eliwood’a father Elbert. He and his squad were attacked by the black gang and nergal nd he was the only survivor. He tried to take revenge on them ion a self imposed mission, but he was found by eliwood, Marcus, isodora, and lowen and they convinced him to join their cause.

And the attuned hero is Nino (green dagger infantry) after nergal was defeated and the dragon’s gate closed. Nino marries either Jaffar or Erk, depending on who she was supported with, and she gave birth to her twin sons Raigh and Lugh. But she and her husband became hunted by the black fang’s old enemies, so she dropped her sons off at an orphanage to protect them and disappeared with her husband.

Her attuned skill is darting blow. Initiate combat and grant spd+2 reduces damage from foe’s attack by 30%. This will work great on speedy player phase units.

And the unit added to the 3 and 4 Star summoning pools is wil (colorless bow infantry) he is an archer from a village and a friend of Rebecca. He joins lyn in her quest for sacae and later joining eliwood and hector in the next arc.

And the GHB is Fargus. (Axe infantry) he is a pirate captain. He challenges eliwood, hector, and lyn and their army and promises them his and his crew’s assistance if they beat him. But the black gang showed up and attacked both sides, the heroes protected fargus and his men and drove off the assassins. And Farris decided to thank the heroes by giving them his services by getting them to the island where the black fang are.

And the mythic heroes.


Kvasir (Red Tome Infantry) she is Seidr’s past self.

And Gullveig (colorless tome cavalry) the main villain of book 7 and seidr’s future self when the gold serpents corrupted her.

These two mythic units are powerful game changers. They’ll destroy a lot of shit in aether raids.

This may be the winner of the upcoming AHR, I'd say with even higher chance of beating Ninja Sanaki by far.
 
we are now moving onto book 8.

and we are now going to yggdrasil. the world tree.

so @HIVidaBoheme and @Brett DeLawyer we already know that FEH is basically also a norse mythology game. and the books took us to the other realms in the game. i've been reading up on norse mythology after playing god of war 2018 and god of war ragnarok.
book 1 started us in midgard. the first realm
book 2 sent us to nifl and muspell. the 2nd and 3rd realms
book 3 sent us to the realm of the dead. basically helheim. the 4th realm.
book 4 sent us to Ljósálfheimr and Dökkálfheimr. the 5th realm.
book 5 sent us to Niðavellir and Jötunheimr. the 6th and 7th realms.
book 6 sent us back to midgard for the fight between askr and embla. they were named after the first man and woman created in norse mythology
book 7 sent us to vanaheimr. the 8th realm.
and now book 8 is sending us to yggdrasil. the world tree. which holds the realms together.
and i'm going to predict that book 9 will send us to the 9th realm. asgard. unless the devs want us to follow another story we should go through before we go to a story where we go to asgard to fight loki, thorr, and Alfaðör

anyway. thats the history lesson. now the update. there was a feh channel.


book 8 begins!


we get a new free ally! a beast unit! she is ratatoskr. and new villains we fight. Hræsvelgr and Níðhöggr

the first chapter! and the heroes are from fire emblem awakening!


the rearmed hero is lucina (axe cavalry). and her outfit is the great knight for female characters. the axe she uses looks great.

Severa (sword infantry) she is cordelia's daughter. she later goes on and becomes selena in the fates world.

Laurent (colorless tome infantry) he is miriel's son. and he is the 4* demote

and Ratatoskr (blue beast cavalry) her prf skill mending heart makes her very supportive in healing and inflicts the green terrain effect. the effect inflicts guard and also blocks out your foe's warping effects. brave gatekeeper has that effect on him.

the free unit we will be getting two 5* copies of from missions is Inigo (Sword infantry) he is olivia's son. he later goes on and becomes laslow in the fates world.

and the GHB is Validar ( Red Tome Infantry) he is the secondary antagonist of awakening. he is the leader of Grima's evil cult, The Grimleal and Robin's father. he intended to use his son/daughter robin as a vessel for grima, but robin's mother did not want that and took her child and fled. validar wouild later raid a village down and kill everyone in it and took in aversa from there as his servant. he and a group of assassins later infiltrated yllise's castle to assassinate emmeryn, but he was defeated and repelled by chrom, robin, and lucina. he was later revived by grima, and the next few years he took over plegia as its new king and began to orchestrate the events into motion as he was able to get his hands on the fire emblem from chrom and robin after they came back from defeating walhart in valm. the two chased him to the dragon's table and chrom was nearly killed, but robin showed a trick and brought up that he saw a vision. and later with help from basilio and flavia, they and the shepherds fought validar and killed him once and for all.

we almost have every playable unit from awakening in feh. All that’s left now is kellam, vaike, and noire.

Edelgard (lance armor) from three houses and holy shit her weapon and all of her skills make her insane.

@HIVidaBoheme we have another overpowered as fuck edelgard alt to talk about.

anyway. her voice actress is tara platt, and she's married to yuri lowenthal, marth's voice actor. tara platt also voices muriel and flavia from awakening. she also voiced katarina from league of legends, anna williams from the tekken series, temari from the naruto series, mitsiru kirijo from persona 3, kali belladonna from RWBY, and many more. a good voice acting profile like her husband.

Dimitri (Axe Cavalry) from three houses.

the duo unit is Male Byleth and Female Byleth (Sword Armor) from three houses.

special fighter was one of ther reward seals. thats awesome. makes more armor loadouts more flexable.

now the legendary unit.


it is Camilla (Green Tome Flier) from Fates. the Eldest Princess of Nohr. IS really wanted to end the year with the Fan Service Nohr Princess. this is her 9th alt added to the game.

jokes aside. shes actually really awesome. her new c skill Deadly Miasma is a tier 4 skill for savage blow. so if you have a unit you like to deal splash damage with. then this is a good one for you.


now the resplendants.

azama got one. one of the weakest book 1 units in the whole game. i guess his few fans are happy about it.

then adult tiki. her weapon kinda sticks out due to being a dragon slaying breath.

and we just got brave ephraim on christmas. love to see him get a resp. this means brave celica, brave hector, and brave veronica are expected to get resps too.

and now the next resp we are getting his Ilyana. really IS? we haven't even gotten a resp for a book 3 unit and you're gonna skip to a unit in book 4? Ilyana's new weapon is expected to arrive aropund march. but well, nice to see her get some love. and reading the tweets of the players being salty about it is hilarious.
