Well, got 300 orbs now. Wonder how many I'll be able to save up before the banner. Maybe 1000 isn't out of the question, especially if I use up all my stamina pots. I really started playing at a good time. Sure, I've wasted tons of orbs out of ignorance, but I still have the lunatic maps on story mode and half the gaiden maps on all difficulties left.

Well, made it to 1000 orbs. Real tempted to pull for a Mareeta but I'll probably hold off.

from Gen 2 of Genealogy of the Holy War


Tine (colorless tome infantry) she is the daughter of tailtiu and the younger sister of arthur. she was captured by her evil uncle bloom and was raised in his confines and was shielded by her mother from hilda's abuse, who tine has lived in fear from.. she grew up being close with her cousin ishtar. later on, she was ordered by bloom to fight seliph's liberation army. but she encounters her brother arthur on the battlefield and recognizes him, she defects to seliph and the liberation army. she along with arthur go after and fight and kill bloom. and in the final battle, she stands up to hilda and kills her, avenging her mother taltiu.

Arthur (Green Tome Infantry) he is a traveling wind mage. he is the son of tailtiu and the older brother of tine. he saw bloom capture his mother and sister and vowed revenge on him. he traveled around jugdral for years and got Fee to travel with him. he meets up with seliph and the liberation army and joins them, he was able to reunite with tine and get her to defect to seliph and his army. arthur confronts bloom twice with tine and along with febail, seliph, and leif and they defeat and kill him. he and tine fight hilda in the final battle and kill her, avenging taltiu.

Scathach (Sword Infantry) he is the son of ayra and the twin brother of larcei and the cousin of shannan. he grew up with seliph and he and his sister larcei helped him liberate Issach from Dannan.

and the Ascended hero is Ishtar. (Blue Tome Infantry) she is the daughter of bloom and hilda andthe younger sister of ishtore and the cousin of arthur and tine and the niece of tailtiu. she is the heir to her father's and family's tome, Mjolnir. grew with a close bond with her cousin tine and her loyal servant Reinhardt. she secretly opposed julius despite her love for him and helped arvis save children from the child hunts. in the final battle, she fought arthur and tine in fell in battle to them. but belived she was likely on the wrong side.


The GHB is Hilda. she is one of the villains of genealogy of the holy war and is literally one of the most hated villains in the fire emblem series. she is the queen of friege, the wife of bloom and the mother of ishtar and ishtore, and the aunt of arthur and tine. when bloom captured Tailtiu and Tine. Hilda took sadistic pleasure in abusing and torturing tailtiu, who shielded tine from her. unlike her husband bloom, who was against Julius' child hunts. Hilda openly supported them. she was even pressuring ishtar, her own daughter, to marry julius. in the final battle, hilda goes after the liberation army and fights Arthur and Tine, and shes was killed in battle by them. in her last words, she called for ishtar to avenge her.
 
I think Hilda might be the actual first name clash in the game which aint bad for 6 years

Easy skip though, getting a bit bored of the Jugdral spam
 
I like how FEH humanized Jugdral!Hilda a little in her Level 40 talk (which shows she at least did care for Bloom and Ishtore), BUT kept her as a massive cunt otherwise. Makes her more interesting and better-rounded as a chara, w/o going the OMFG SHE HAD A TWAGIC PAST bs I’ve seen about female villainesses.

Also, got to spark point on both of my accounts. Only got Ishtar on main (but in exchange I also got Tsubasa and Faye); on the alt I got her, Scáthach and Tine. Go me, I guess.

If you have Yuri “I Can Stab Shit And Then Run Off” Leclerc and a good healer handy (like Festival Nanna or maybe Hatari Xane), it’s unexpectedly easy.
 
The next mythical hero has been revealed.


Medeus (Red Dragon Infantry and shadow blessing). He is one of main villains and the final boss of fire emblem shadow dragon and the blade of light and it’s sequels mystery of the emblem. And their DS remakes, shadow dragon and new mystery of the emblem.

Long ago, when naga and the divine dragons decided to seal away their dragon forms and powers into dragon stones, medeus refused to out of pride and hatred toward humanity and started a war with naga and the divine dragons and was beaten. When he awoke again, he started another war and founded the Dolhr Empire. But Marth’s ancestor Anri, fought him with falchion and medeus was defeated once again.

Centuries later, medeus was resurrected by gharnef and restored the dolhr empire. After a long war, and after retrieving falchion and defeating gharnef, marth confronts and fights medeus like his ancestor and defeats him.

In the next war, gharnef resurrects medeus once again by using elice, Lena, Maria, and nyna. But they were rescued by marth and kris and their army. Marth, along with Kris, fight medeus once again with falchion and the completed binding shield, and finally kill him. with marth telling him that no matter how many times he comes back, mankind will always be ready to defeat him. And in his last words, medeus tell marth that he will always come back as long as their is evil in the hearts of men, and that he will always come out of the depths of hell.

Medeus's skills are absolutely game breaking in Aether raids as he can deny both damage from the Bolt tower and the bolt traps.

He also kills F!Edelgard easily, pull for him if you can.

Lilith (Red Dragon Flier) from fire emblem fates. this lilith was fought in the prequel dlc. She was ordered by the evil Anankos to kill owain, severa, and inigo, who became Odin, Selena, and Laslow. They putted up a fight and repel her. She had a change of heart after being comforted by the good side of anankos and found out about corrin and chooses to defy the evil Anankos and protect corrin by watching him/her his/her whole life in nohr.

Ninian (Blue Dragon Infantry Dancer) from Fire Emblem the blazing blade. She was attacked by Nergal and he erased some of her memory and made her attack eliwood. Eliwood responded in self defense, but recognized Ninian and was horrified from hurting her. Thankfully, bramimmond was able to revive her later on

Gustav (Axe Cavalry) he was fought back in book 3. He was resurrected as a soldier of Hel after he was killed by her.

And Rhea (Colorless Dragon Armor) from Three Houses as the Immaculate One. She is the Final Boss of the Crimson Flower and Silver Snow stories.

And the GHB is Muarim (Beast) from path of radiance and radiant dawn. He is a beast laguz from Gallia. In radiant dawn, he was captured by Izuka and was subjected to his experiments and was fed feral elixir, causing him to go berserk and become unstable. Thankfully, Rafiel was able to sing the Galdr of Release to heal and restore his mind and soul.

Why do they keep making the definition of FPS-stealing game genres on a system that has an average across all games below 30 fps?

I was holding out on the hope we would be given either Glen (Cormag's brother) or even Fallen Morva in this banner since previous years we had gotten Lyon and then Orson.
 
Gaius got his resplendant today. Looks good.

Looking back on his weapon. It gives a speed boost when he starts combat and does true damage from 10% of his spd stat. And his weapon’s refine is he does +7 more true damage if his foe’s HP is at 100%.

You can make gaius into a true damage specialist if you invest into his atk and spd stats. Give him flashing blade 4 and null follow up and he’ll do even more damage.

Next resplendant is Effie. Her weapon and refine are still disappointing. I’ve had her at +10 for awhile.
 
God that Echoes banner is fucking dire
Another mage Celica alt, which is just her but wearing green. Shit choice of an Ascendant too, even worse than Florina. Another whitewing alt to complete the set, then a new OC who literally turned up for one scene to die.
The only Echoes newcomers that made it were Atlas and Kamui, one of which isnt even a 5* on banner, the other being demote-bait. The GHB doesn't even have a name.

I get Echoes is running a dry tap especially on the Celica side as the only recruit on her side left is Nomah, but could the alts have been more inspired?
 
Speaking of CYL, you guys ready for it or not going to summon?

I saved 500 orbs from the dailies and give aways just to summon for Byleth and then maybe blow the rest on summoning the other 5 copies of Gatekeeper I'm missing on his rerun.
