After much consideration, I have caved and joined as a member here on KF, mainly to follow the ALR threads.

I have read a couple of the threads attached to ALR and her life and just wondered if anyone had any tips for a newbie?
 
I hope you regret this, because you're a fucking idiot and you need to shape up and lurk moar if you're gonna use this site.
 
My tip is to read all pinned posts that are meant to help noobs acclimate to board culture. Only start threads when you have new content that doesn't fit another thread. This is a shitlord board. Expect people to be harsh and never, ever reveal personal info.

Yikes. That's, uh, quite an entrance you made. Like everyone else said, you need to lurk more. You also need to wait a while before making any threads so you'll have a good idea of what we look for on this site. Despite your horrible first post, I do hope you learn from this experience and wish you luck even if you decide to never come back.
 
You say this took 'much consideration' and you use words like 'finally' and 'caved'. So in all this time that you spent lurking and pondering whether or not to sign up, you somehow failed to notice the pinned threads and the warnings on every single page of the site? The fact that we only make threads about AL on this board also somehow escaped you. How does that happen?
