Basically, Steam released the demo of their game on Steam and Origin, and since Denuvo wouldn't play nice with Origin, defeating the copy protection for the Origin demo was child's play, and the demo is merely the game itself with access to content past a certain point disabled by easy to remove game code, meaning crackers were unlocking the full game with no DRM before release.

> Spend thousands of dollars on DRM
> Demo exe of your own game bypasses it entirely, and pirates get the game a week earlier than legit customers

BRAVO, SE
Stunning and brave.

Whoops! You should actually use DRM that actually works with Origin, or better yet, interweave the code through out the entire game.

Denuvo is a joke it still kill performance and make games run like ass, for those that are cheapskates or condemned to third ass world countries like me, wait until the Repack is released, Square has a bad reputation of putting shitload of crap in their games for no reason, for example Nier Automata size is almost like 40 gb on Steam IIRC, when the pirates looked the files they noticed that the reason was that the videos were encoded in a insanely high bitrate, after all the videos were recoded the game size was reduced to a mere 11 GB

Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Battlefront, Titan Fall, Crysis, Dead Space, of all the preorder outfits they could have offered people, they slapped some Sims Llama nonsense on there, and in return, completely shafted Square and caused their game to get broken open a week in advance.

Gotta' hand it to you, EA, when you mess up, you really go all in.

I could've sworn I posted it but I guess not.
I was gonna say that Denuvo managed to fuck up Puyo Puyo tetris on launch. Missing textures, messed with netcoding, and weird framerate stutters in animations.
I should mention. The game is like, 99% textures.

christ they look so bad

I pre ordered this because I was pretty excited to play a not shitty version of the game after beating in on ps4 and wanted some sick ass mods to play with. Fuckin denuvo just has to get in the way of that though, way to ruin the fun.

Might as well not even have Denuvo at this point, the game is already cracked and in the hands of the pirates.

I enjoyed the PS4 version, but I'm curious to see if modders will restore any of the massive amount of cut content.
