Void Meteor, the mechanic that comes right after Big Bang in The Abyssal Fracture (Extreme). It's theoretically possible to skip it due to Zeromus (and Hydaelyn, funnily enough) having HP% instead of Pull Time thresholds for their phase transitions.

Why do people want to skip Meteors? Because it's the one difficult mechanic in the entire fight.
They hate it so much that they're willing to bash their heads against the wall repeatedly until they have enough echo to skip it because one dude on youtube said "IT'S POSSIBLE". (With a team full of IL720+ players who are all potting in OLD EXPANSION CONTENT, and 10% echo).

If you weren't lucky enough to get the mount before the average person who wants to do Zeromus EX became this retarded, wait till 7.2 at the earliest and put a IL740+ limit on your parties. It might actually be possible without echo then.

Side note, Meteor Skip is also a thing in The Voidcast Dais/Golbez EX (Skipping Meteor Rain after Double Meteor), but that one's actually possible without Echo if your team is good enough at the game. Might be possible to skip Double Meteor in 7.2, too.

Hector? Hes the same dood i use to read on guides for extremes, did so for Everkeep and it was good enough that i completed it. Is he bad?

He isn't inherently bad, he just does inconsistent clockspots for some arbitrary reason, and people love to jump into PFs that say [ANY OTHER STRAT], end up causing a wipe, and say "i thought we were doing hector strats".

Also he posted a P4S (or was it P8S i don't raid so i don't remember) guide before actually clearing the raid himself.

People don't like him because he gets videos on new fights out as soon as possible meaning the vids have day 1 strats which can be pretty clunky and sub-optimal. Since his vids are out first they get a pretty wide audience and those day 1 strats can be cemented into the meta, even after better strats are developed.

And NA are notoriously inflexible, while simulataniously being undecisive having about 4+ strats for any given fight. It's a major reason only about 20% on NA have chaos clears while 85%+ on JP do. They pick one strat and stick with it, and almost always safe and consistant ones. It's a major reason why I hated playing on NA.
A lot of the content is made for group cohesion in mind, while NA does everything they can to make it about personal besting (and i swear to god if i hear yet ANOTHER strat get called "braindead"). Sure there are bigger highs, but my god the lows are so much fucking lower.

It is indeed by and for faggots but also the most convenient and therefore most realistic way of gathering nerds to talk some inconsequential shit and set the occasional timed event that I'm aware of.

I don't expect to actually form a Kiwi static, I'm just throwing my alt out there so we can stop dancing around it when the discussion comes up again in another 30 pages of sneeding.
At the very least with a linkshell we can optimise our sneeding time in-game rather than fagging up the thread.
