After some time away from the game, and following a personal idiot goal of getting a crown icon next to my character name, I have renewed thoughts.

After trying and learning several other jobs, my issues with the sameyness of every role remains:

I prefer playing Healer, but if all I'm doing as Healer is spamming my one DPS button, I don't wanna play healer. I love it when I get grouped with a lousy tank or subpar DPS group, forcing me to instead spam heals to keep the party alive.

DPS is the most fun as a "turn brain off kill thing" mode, where I just choose which flavor of mass murder I wanna indulge in.

Tanking used to be my least favorite role, but now it's not so bad, because it gives me a bit more to think about and be weary of. I still feel that every tank should be more distinct in how they approach the act of tanking, but I'll take what little I can get.

Crafting is still boring as fuck. Gathering can be fun as just a mindless activity during podcasts or videos.

As someone who burned through base game through to current content patch, even running content over and over doesn't necessarily get boring. But you do need to do it with fun people, or else it does get boring.

My main chracter is on Primal DC, but I did make an alt on Dynamis DC to kill time and grind up another Lv90 toon. Why? Because I paid for another six month sub and have nothing else to play these days, and 14 is a great timesink while listening to stuff that would otherwise put me to sleep.

I did make some cool acquaintances while playing, but as a loner by nature, part of the reason I stepped away from my main to an alt was to be able to just... play the game without being disturbed. Dynamis is amazingly silent and tranquil.

Pretty much, from the brief look I had JoCat decided to quit content creation because a) their non JoCrap stuff sucked and b) some trannies were mad over the "I like girls" video.

JoCat’s biggest mistake was taking a break when troons went after him. Whenever the perpetually offended on the internet attack you, just ignore them completely and keep uploading as usual. They’ll eventually stop bothering you and move on to their next target because they thrive off the attention.

There was this deleted tweet of Jocat, not sure if it lines up with recent controversial. Since he admitted being down bad, so it may or may not be more fuel to hate his "I like girls" video from progressive people, and twitter.

He was an ally to the troon community and was able to get in super easily by telling everyone that he's a crossdressing weirdo.
A tranny posts a video that he made 2 years ago where he animated this one little section in a livestream he did of early access of BG3 where he does a parody of the song "Boys" by Lizzo but genderbent. So he sings about liking girls and how he likes all types of girls.

Queue the angry mob of trannies calling his video cringe and sexist because he's a foot-in-the-door tranny himself who likes WOMEN who are not just men in drag. According to JoCat, he's been getting hate for a long time now and this new mob was just want sent him over the edge. Instead of standing his ground and standing up for himself, he decides to let the progressive woke mob eat him alive and give them a nice strong hit of serotonin while they rub their beer guts and stroke their girldicks at having ruined yet another person's life over the internet.
