Oh Shenpai, an interesting person. Something happened wit Lunarcon where they have nothing to do with it anymore but the first one I took part in and had direct interactions with them and found out they are an extremely self centered narcissist jerk. A few groups threatened to pull out if they didn’t start treating some people better that were involved and it ended up with a whole apology arc though they were remorseless and nasty until it threatened their con. An absolute disingenuous piece of shit

If possible I’d prefer to DM whatever because it’s stuff collected from smaller chats in the leadership rooms etc that would pretty much instantly oust me and the last thing I want is someone trying to get me fired from my job (happened once already before in XIV over a FC house)

Yeah, but it's super secret. All you need to know is that we have a main group over on Balmung and a second group over on Mateus. If you want the deets, be sure to roll up a character and hang around in the Adventurer's Guild (or "the Quicksand" as it's referred to in-game) in Ul'dah. We'll find you.

Serious note: The only way you predominantly avoid that is to never get involved with socializing with anybody on XIV ever.
Play the game to play the game, which you can do mostly solo at this point, and do your best to ignore the constant advertisements for gay/trans/LGBTQ+ friendly guilds and "clubs".

The amount of times I have been DM'd since I started participating in this thread essentially asking me for some manner of invitation to the non-existent Kiwi FC is kind of amusing and concerning at the same time.
Let me assure you all that if there was a CWLS or an actual Kiwi FC, I'm the last and worst person you should ask about it because not only would I steer clear from it for opsec's sake, but if it did exist, I'd probably be kept just as much in the dark about it as anyone else.

I think there was an attempt but it fizzled out and there was a time when people played on different servers so there wasn't really a unified guild so to speak.

Easiest way to avoid that shit is when you encounter someone trying to talk to you, you right click them and go "View Adventure Plate" and if you see anything related to twitter, tumblr or carrd in their bio you write them off as a faggot and never interact with them again.
