Absolute nigger behaviour. Susan Calloway did more for the game than you ever did you ungrateful fucks.

Call me MATI, but...

Stuff like this is why I'm seriously considering just dropping the game once I'm done leveling my alt; I mean, I love this game, but the troons in this community just ruins every little thing. Canceling Susan over their political obsession - while not unexpected these days, sadly - it just idiotic; the fucking obsession with making everything their little safe spaces is cult-like.

The fact that the devs had to rewrite a pretty good chunk of Endwalker just to avoid "triggering" the playtesters is a pretty good example of how the playerbase is.

So was Endwalker originally supposed to be too dark for the RP’ers? Maybe that explains why it was so underwhelming.
I need the story behind this cuz it sounds good.
First I'm hearing of this.
That's the first time I'm hearing this. Sources/details?

Right, so; this was taken from someone else's post earlier in the thread - can't remember where for the life of me, my apologies - but there were some posts that indicate that the original story for Endwalker, particularly Ultima Thule, was "too dark". Apparently, one or more of the main characters were originally supposed to bite it; at least one of the cast was actually supposed to die and stay dead in UT, and a lot of the story was cut because the original playtesters for the game got too "depressed" or some shit. Hence, the tone whiplash.

Sorry that I can't find the original post, guys.

Doesn't help that the devs decided to combine two expansions into one; as I mentioned earlier, EW was supposed to be split into two expansions, the first focusing on the invasion of Garlemald, the second focusing on the Final Days. Unfortunately, the devs got worried that people might get burned out on the story too soon, so they just decided to crowbar everything into one expansion.

I want to believe that, but I don't know. I think it more has to do with corporate meddling than because a bunch of playtesters got too sad. The scions are iconic and fan favorites and they clearly want to milk them dry in every patch and expansion so I'm more leaning that it was a business decision rather than a playtester slanted decision. But that's just me.

I believe shortly before launch, a slight two-week delay was announced to address 'story concerns.'

After playing through Endwalker, in my rambling autistic synopses of it, I played connect-the-dots with how the story's themes directly contradict itself (everything suggests 'sacrifice' is a necessary part of life -> protagonist and good guys sacrifice nothing, get everything?) and believe they dramatically swapped around the ending in a quick n' dirty rewrite. Obviously a good while before that delay was announced, but in tidying up the rewrite probably found they needed a bit more time for polish on the quickly-shoveled-in replacement.

IB4: creepypasta of a man claiming to have the original Endwalker beta and saying that it was so depressing that it caused trannies to kill themselves.

And here we go…..

Fucking troons going out their way to ruin someone’s reputation who has provided work for SE for 16 years. I used to just be entertained by these losers but I actually have a seething hatred for them now, they infect and ruin everything they actually get their little gross fingers on
It's always the autistic queer trans they/them bullies like this one.

The Fall Guys collab event is fucking retarded, eye-cancerously ugly and I want it to end already.

Might be my own 'tism but seeing people running around with gear from that event is somehow more obnoxious than everyone running around with that new PVP gear a few weeks back. Actually had to take a step back from the game, and might do so for the rest of the year until that disgusting event passes.

Other than TTD I honestly don't know what SE can do about the tranny problem. You can't screen your playerbase to see if they're a freak. You can't have bots reading all chatlogs searching for groomers. The game isn't overtly woke to be drawing them in, so what are you supposed to do to control the troon population? The only thing I can think of is to drop hints of right wing politics for a bit to scare them off, but once they have their claws on you they will sooner die than let go. They already have their claws dug in so I have no idea what the final solution is.

I’ve seen claims that Susan is racist, transphobic, and islamaphobic. That’s a mouthful. This article goes over what she allegedly liked on twitter, with no screenshots whatsoever.

Again, the article mentions screenshots but there’s no screenshots shown. But anyway, she liked a tweet that calls transitioning kids what it is. Guess all the pedo troons on twitter couldn’t handle it. Also liking tweets of people replying to libs of TikTok, which I guess somehow means you entirely associate with every single one of their views.

Following someone is also a crime in current year. (Even though a bunch of liberals on twitter would follow trump back then).
