Grinding for the Moogle tomestones makes me want to kill myself sometimes. And not because I'm running Praetorium over and over for them, because at least I can AFK and fuck off most of the time in that, but because I am consistently getting people who are painfully retarded even for content as currently braindead as Praetorium.

The only person from OTK I expect to not be a sexpest is actually Asmongold himself because he's a shut-in goblin man and is self-aware enough about it to know that women aren't really in his wheelhouse. The rest of them radiate big "desperate nerd who wants to prove that they can party and pull puss now that they're rich and influential" energy.

Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if Emiru turned out to be a sexpest too.
 
I've been catching up on various streams that have been piling up in my backlog and while for the most part I'm fine with Pint himself as a content creator I can just tell his fanbase is absolutely insufferable from that final eden stream where one of them apparently made a scissoring joke about two teenage girls and one of those comments that shows they're interpreting the Mitron thing in the cringiest way possible. Though it seems on the latter point someone actually made a good response in the youtube comments of all places.

I would kind of agree with that screenshot comment that many people interpret Mitron in the worst way possible because they can't process what he's going through and just default to "lol incel" tier thoughts when they see a dude attached to someone like he was. That and if they acknowledge Mitron as flawed but valid, then that would ruin muh teenage lesbian canon.

The most simple parallel to Mitron is Nidhogg, who are both ageless beings who's reasonable feelings are driven to absolute insanity due to the ability to live forever with those feelings. Which in Japanese stories tends to mean that it makes things worse, which is actually somewhat canonized in 14 using the four lords storyline from Stormblood. In Mitron's case you don't even need immortality to get driven that mad over wanting to be with your loved one again. If someone was separated from their wife by force for say 10-20 years, they'd probably be extremely attached once they finally meet again.

I don't know if it's true or not, Asmon released a statement on it and it sounds like he does believe the accusations.
