How do I find a troon free FC to raid with? Been trying to find one since HW with no luck.

is it me or has the amount of really bad healers skyrocketed recently on crystal, leveling is becoming a roulette to skip on tanks
I haven't noticed an appreciable drop in quality; it's just the usual inexperienced sprouts and WHM/SCHs who insist on using Cure 1 or Physick when I've been doing dailies.

That's part of what I mean - I guess I had good running for a while with solid-enough healers that at least used their kit, even if they didn't damage much. But the last few days, man, I've had some real cases.

I had someone in Gulg wipe the party because they didn't like that I was pulling more than two packs at a time (yet chose not to say anything) and got pissy when I ignored them trying to rescue me away from a third pack, then also in Gulg I had someone spamming physick on only three out of the five packs in the first hallway as my health was dropping down through mits consistently. Just Physick. Level 79 dungeon, level 1 ability. Had they at least been spamming adlo with the shield-to-heal cooldown thrown in, whatever, but it was genuinely just that shit. More time to get shit done around the house when I eat the penalties, at least. Trying to kick people for playing like that, or even not having their jobstone on, is like pulling teeth.

Damn, that sucks. It really doesn't help that healers tend to, of all the roles, get the most defensive and pissy if you try to offer literally any feedback.

You know how you win the lottery? Yeah, same thing, exorbitantly absurd luck.
I've had more crappy tanks lately than healers on leveling roulette. One didn't pull at all and kept facing the bosses towards the two DPS which was me and a Samurai and the other decided Aurum Vale was a good place to practice being a tank on day one.

Ironically, that's what I did. I think I unlocked Gunbreaker as the first tank because it starts so high, a friend of mine offered to heal, and we went into leveling roulette... only to get that place. It teaches you a lot, at least.

And they tend to get the most ass-pats from simps who think they're gonna get some internet pussy. I was at least able to kick the one that TPK'd us, although apparently they had a friend who stuck around until the end of the dungeon rather than stick by their pal and bounce - gotta get them tomes.

If you can't heal a wall pull then you're a below-average healer. Healing wall-to-wall pulls is pretty much the baseline and 90% of parties are gonna expect that, so get used to it. It's not even that hard. You can comfortably get through a dungeon as SGE without ever casting a GCD heal.
And they tend to get the most ass-pats from simps who think they're gonna get some internet pussy.
Ironic since there's about a 50% chance that the healer they're simping for absolutely hates their fucking guts.

I've went past the endless optimism of a sprout healer wanting to protect everyone and I'm now firmly into the "jaded cynic" territory you'll often see. Not quite an asshole who refuses to adjust (at least not yet), but I definitely think the DPS are retarded every time they try to greed uptime and walk straight into an AOE. At least for hard content. Normal content is so low-stakes that it's hard to be annoyed by it unless someone's fucking up consistently in a really stupid way.

Got Island Sanctuary to rank 10 after I was lazy as fuck the last week or so, overall I like the content fine. It does everything it is meant to do which is be an entirely side activity that isn't distracting and feel fairly relaxing. I know people bitch about time gates or whatever, but if this was a constant thing to baby sit it would suck so fuck that. Rest days I also think are fine as they help tapper down people's OCD to try and minmax every single day, now you only minmax 5/7 and you can spend those 2 rest days to slowly build into the next day. If anything the rest days are a great idea and I'm pretty sure you can assign them however you want which is good for people who have weird schedules.

I think my only changes/updates that I'd really want are:

1: Let me actually place shit how I want in some way, I think this is my biggest issue is you can't really tailor anything very well which makes inviting friends seem weird as everyone gets the same island pretty much. I don't expect the whole island to be customizable, but let me do something to stand out. The most basic idea I think is letting you have a yard where you can place stuff there, it'd make outdoor furniture actually more generally useful too which is a nice plus. Outdoor stuff is actually quite varied so you can make something cool with this I think.

2: I think to make the farming better I'd add an orchard which can produce fruit from trees that you can pick them every say 12 hours and you can stack this up to a handful of days worth of fruit (so if you afk for 2 days you still get 2 days worth of fruit). Right now the farming sucks for people that want that because the crops take too long to show up. Another idea might be faster crop speed, but I think an Orchard is a natural progression and I like Orchards. The ranching I think is fine, though I'd like it if you could design the pasture with more details like having an actual barn.

Also considering the state of this site, I'd just like to say just in case something happens, it was a pleasure being autistic about this weeb ass game with you all.

I think they've said they'll add more customization, so eventually the islands will all stop looking the same

I've been at Rank 10 since last week.

Right now I'm stuck on the waiting game as my workshops automatically generate profit. I'll have my motorcycle soon enough.

My tanks in Troia keep standing in the last boss' hitbox when he does his knockback which kills them and makes me want to fucking kill them. Can Crystal DF people please stop being retarded for like five minutes? lol

Sad that OCE is so dead.

Reads this thread.

At least I''m not on NA. :)

My duty finder experience has been pretty smooth. It's frontline roulette where I start malding.
But that's Frontline Roulette. It's still a metric fuckton of free easy XP regardless of whether you win or lose.

Granted, I'm also the type of faggot who gets a little hot under the collar during Frontline Roulette, but I also temper that anger with acknowledgement of the fact that I'm getting pretty greatly rewarded for doing it either way.

My roulettes were smooth for the last two weeks. They're starting to slip back into being nightmare simulators though.

Like last night, me (on Warrior) and a Red Mage had to basically become healers because our Sage, who was not new to the content, kept eating shit constantly for the latter 2/3rds of Troia. RDM had to Verraise this idiot no less than 5 times – twice on the second boss and three times on the last boss – and I kept having to cycle Nascent Flash in order to keep our other DPS, and occasionally the Sage, up, because this fucking mouthbreather was either only throwing out heals on reaction or just was not making use of their Addersgall heals whatsoever.

For some reason, everyone in that run commended me. I'd argue they should've commended the RDM.

I used to get infinitely butt-frustrated by Frontline until I got my dumbass horse from it. I stopped caring since there's no need to actually win anymore but I still try as I always have. The issue is that high EXP, tome, and other payouts mean you get lots of bots in there. You see someone doing something dumbfuck retarded like running into a wall or trying to cast Return while they're getting their asshole stretched?

Bot probably 70% of the time.

Before they upgraded the rewards and put in more maps Frontline was almost exclusively swarms of bots fighting other bots at non-prime hours. Now there's a higher number of players so its a crapshoot. I wish to god they'd improve Frontline but they can barely figure out CC which is a simple payload game.

A simple what game? Are you trying to imply PvP has objectives? Because I'm pretty sure you're wrong and gay and that PvP is always pure Team Deathmatch. If you're not constantly pushing and overextending, then you're doing it wrong.

On a related note, PvP makes me want to die and I have no interest suffering through this season for just a dragon mount. Archfiend last season was worth it, but not this to me.

Fun game, search the character name of whoever joins you pf on twitter.

Also about PvP, I just wish I could queue CC with my friends instead of forcing us to sit there and press join at the same time and hope we get put into the same match and same team. Worst is when 3 people get on a team and one of us is left to get gang banged.

Casuals should really allow maybe a 2-player queue.

Absolutely insane. In my 3 years playing this game, I've never seen a current raid boss receive a nerf. The balance team at SE is really dropping the ball.
