So, these guys broke up at some point right? Because what the fuck do you even do once you have a majority of people at cap and not focused on endgame content? Keep inviting new people so you can whine that they MUST carry new people through leveling content? Whine for everyone to be crafters and make the FC money?

As someone who used to be in one of the biggest FCs on a server that lost all their focus on even attempting endgame content and instead just decided to serve as a hugbox for a bunch of babies who didn't want to play the game, I can tell you right now this is a slow, agonizing way to get your own FC to cannibalize itself.

yeah they werent that big in the grand scheme of things, they seemingly were autistic in their own little bubble in the sidelines till some posts in shitpostXIV started popping up to make fun of them. iirc they were the one FC that had some wack ass policies where newbies couldnt run content unless it was with their mentors, or use shit from the Marketboard (and they tracked that), you had to ask for shit to be crafted or grinded, but i cant for the life of me find the post where they detailed that

This is were i first read about the Marketboard thing, apparently it was attributed to Dreadwyrm academy, atleast according to a random redditor, so grain of salt and all that

TBH to call it a full blown cult is faggy and retarded, to me they didnt exactly sperg out too hard compared to how many online "cults" are, FFXIV's carebear moderrtion would squash any of that like a bug unless they went hard on the discord gay ops, to me at best its just a retarded LARP clan with some faggots thinking they run the show at the top

Just saw this retweeted so I guess there's some minor fandom drama going on. I have some IRL obligations I need to attend to so I can't look through this way too huge twitlonger that the OP linked but judging from the twitter profile this person looks like he should spend more time touching grass than making dozens of gpose fanfics so maybe it's just a big nothingburger.

Overall this tard fight seems juicy but its seems really fucking small lmao, the Balance had accusations of sexual abuse and people calling the wider community out for "enabling" something 10x more horrible than racism and it fizzled out because nobody could get their story stright

1) Dang, not the Ren I was hoping it'd be.
2) To be fair, with this fucking community, the juicy shit is always gonna be small. IdioPol shit always tends to be, and then when you factor in the paranoia that comes from 'the devs' stepping in and crushing anyone who gets too wild and crazy, it's always gonna be restrained.

Still holding out hope for some real shit, but even that stuff with the Fashion Report weirdo didn't go anywhere.

The mage armor looks like an endgame arcane mage armor from WoW, still, looks much better than WoW.

It reminds me of the mage tier set from firelands, I don't bother with savage raiding much but I assume that I can farm these sets in normal but not able to dye them correct?
 
Autismo incoming but I'm really excited for the patch. I'm one of those people who's super into the MSQ and seeing the model for the adult simulacrum has me super hyped. Seeing the hildibrands on the moon reminded me I should really get my shit together and pick up the manderville quests. I'm also very excited for island sanctuary since it seems like it also ties into the MSQ some way or another (unless I'm wrong).
