I've legit never seen this, please share highlights if you have any. The closest I hear is "Gaius is BASED" fans and obvious Zenos stans who are some kind of autistic possibly psychopath in progress.

Omg! I actually have a story about that server lol.
A little background first though: Back in the winter, when Null was asking for MATI community stories, I had just joined this server, and emailed him about it. I didn't think he'd ever spotlight it (and he didn't) since it's really just discord being discord. But it's helpful that I still have that email since I have access to all the screenshots I took.


So I joined this server when it was fairly new, just trying to meet friends after I realized how few friends (especially girlfriends) I had in game when compared to my boyfriend. At worst, I figured it would be another place to browse around when I got bored.

I ended up joining to check it out and at first it seemed okay, but I quickly realized that a large number of the "women" in the group were trans:

I could go on and on but just searching "trans" in the introductions thread should give a reasonable idea (and remember, this screenshot was from Nov 2021. I can only imagine that there are way more now)...

So men have to be invited to the server, and they get their own role that locks them from the majority of channels. But if a man says he's a woman? "Well come right on in!"
It's ridiculous.

And what's even more of a joke? There's a verification process that you have to go through to prove you're a woman if you want access to all of the channels. But it's all irrelevant. If you can just say you're a woman, why does it even matter?

It's just all so stupid. And all the other actual women that I encountered in the server were clearly political extremists pushing this kind of stuff. Maybe things have changed. But I highly doubt it. Needless to say I saw a lot of red flags and noped the fuck out of there.

TLDR; The server should really be called "FFXIV Leftists + Trannies Only".

EDIT: Removed a pic of the girl who ran the server. When I made that email I was certain she was a tranny too (lol) but I'm almost certain that isn't the case now. So it's irrelevant to the story.

Most of what Gaius did is incredibly based. The few retarded things he's guilty of involves collaborating with Ascians, his "RULE BY MIGHT" autism, and his technically negligent (by way of not making sure to keep his kids under his wing/have contingencies to keep them safe and not inadvertently subjected to experimentation) parenting.

I don't even think most of those people are troons. I think most of those people are just the worst kinds of coomers who may, in fact, very well be deeply-closeted homosexuals.

Most actual troons either tend to play Viera (both genders) or female Miqo'te/Au'Ra/Midlanders while telling everyone "my character is actually a guy/genderspecial, by the way".
