Which is where the issue of "being critical" comes into play, because if you dare to even remotely insinuate that someone isn't doing what they're supposed to do, and even if you explain mechanics in the most neutral, objective way possible without being accusatory, people in this game will still tend to project some sentiment of rudeness upon you and treat you as though you're being an elitist piece of shit.

Yeah. I hate it. Its how it usually starts then it gets heated because you DARED to question them, or even suggest they're not doing something right. I think the only reason I don't get banned is because I don't call them a faggot or to kill themselves, as tempting as it always is. Rare that they accept they're wrong or fucking up and ask what to do, which I respect. We all fuck up including me. But usually it's either they become defensive or leave.

Yeah, and I forgot to include this, but the great thing is that being critical, while it might lead to some of these assholes reporting you, has never led to an actionable report for me from doing so.
 
Literally the only appeal to 6.18 is for people who already have friends that play XIV, but on different data centers.

And I guess faggots like me who have been catching up on crafter/gatherer classes.

Actionable report or not (which I've never had to deal with either), it's still soulcrushingly irritating to quite frequently have to sort through these crybabies and shitters.

See how even some of our resident raidfags have finally given up due to constantly dealing with their fuckery since Endwalker started.

It's not entirely soloable, but they are working on that. Sooner than later it will be.
Right now you can do a majority of the game solo, outside main story quest dungeons, etc. But even those don't have to be social if you don't want them to be.

The game has an extensive free trial. The best advice I can give is to try it out yourself and see what you think.
 
When I came back 2 months ago and reached lv90 on healer and tank, the first thing I did was to join a learning party for Endsinger's EX and it was a nightmare.
I got so frustrated that I havent touched the thing or raiding ever since.

I might try on Aether or Primal later, but something tells me there wont be much variety in shitters.

Love the game, hate the playerbase.

I play on Sargatanas, I don't know if anything changed in the last two months, but Aether was the pinnacle of autism around Endwalker release and 6.1. All the big streamers in the WoWdeath-wave were on Aether, therefore all of their mongoloid fans were clogging up the server too. It was miserable, and it's partly why I decided to take a break.

I’m on primal. It isn’t any better as far as shitty players go. Attempting to pug most ex and savage fights is usually a recipe for cancer.

theoretically now, the whole world-hopping thing would make it easier for misbegotten miscreants from here to coordinate and do shit, without the need for an easily-identified FC that would lead to some amount of possibly literal diaper shitting from the game's community-at-large. If you're able to just have a master linkshell on one of the world clusters, and you're able to invite guests into said linkshell, bing boom badaboom. It's easy to make burner discord accounts for voice, and despite the insistence of a certain someone still angry their weirdass discord server got nuked from orbit for the unending stream of edgy zoomers spamming a lexicon of gamer words, people from here have been chill enough in my experiences elsewhere. the power is yours, unless you can't invite guests to linkshells which, considering the spaghetti, wouldn't surprise me

If you want to pug EX trials and savage, you have to do it the moment the content is released. Anyone good already did the content months ago leaving only the shitters still "learning"

Yep. The longer the tier goes on, the worse it gets.
The moment the tier opens up, that's basically the lowest point for pugs. The people still learning are generally bottom of the barrel. Even in farm parties you get weighed down by idiots who got carried once previously, can't clear consistently, but now they can skip around as they please.

Pugging p4s is basically impossible now with all the retards trying to get carried to a mount. Pisses me off lol

Kiwi raid saga when? I'm sure a bunch of autists from KF trying to raid would not AT ALL be an absolute shit show or disaster. What could possibly go wrong? I'm pretty sure we got at least three tanks in this thread, counting myself, and someone here plays healer I believe. So that's most the hard roles filled.

Although you can't really do anything with linkshells if you're DC traveling. Under the list of limitations for DC travelers it says...

Linkshells​

Linkshell information cannot be viewed.
Linkshells cannot be created or joined.
Linkshells cannot be used to send or receive messages.

So, basically, linkshells are useless. Likely because they want to avoid trying to send linkshell information from one DC or another so they just cancel the whole system entirely to ensure nothing goes wrong.

This would be quite timely for me, as I am looking to be in a static that isn't full of autistic trannies. Quite a difficult thing to scout for on PF. I main WHM.

Also, I had no idea this thread existed until the billboard shit happened. Where the hell have I been.
 
Kiwi raiding night sounds like a good time. I never had the opportunity to join a static this tier so I've been a PF warrior and that's going about as well as other people have mentioned about PF a few posts above.
I play a variety of stuff but mosty healing (AST, SGE) or SMN. I also am a CULfag and can make some food for whoever needs a snack. :)
