For some reason this is what modders think difficulty mods should be like. See: FFT 1.3
Every fight has multiple enemies with revives, and later on they have some bullshit potion which restores all HP/MP. Winning is reliant on using the exact loadout needed to not get crushed into a fine paste. Very sketchy RNG rather than any sort of clever strategy or tactics.

Journey of the 5 is an even bigger mess. Honestly the only tip is to save scum.

It is too bad that VI didn't get the same love and get a remake like I & IV did for the PSP. To me, those are the definitive versions. The upgrade in graphics and sound is awesome and completely compliments the original art, unlike the flat, featureless garbage they crapped on to Android & iOS.

I think the reason that VI never got the love for a remake that IV did is that it is such a huge game in terms of distinct areas, terrain, etc... it would be a tremendous undertaking and Squinx just sucks.

VI also wasn't as popular in Japan as it was elsewhere, and Japanese companies only make what Japan wants.

I really love VI , its probably one of if not my favourite game of all time. I know it has its flaws (the veldt/rages, colosseum, umaro) but I feel it doesn't need a remake like 7 since they gonna add some bullshit towards it. I really wished it had the PSP version like 4 to add the dragons.

The Pixel Remaster is ugly, what the game really needs is a bit of a mechanical overall. The 9999 damage cap makes multi hitting things like Dragon Horn and Offering the go to for damage. Every characters unique ability is a nice idea, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired, especially in the late game. Gau's Rages can be great, but are a chore to collect and use, and at the end of the day still get pretty anemic compared to maxed out multi-hit charcters. Edgar really needed two more Wold of Ruin Tools. The Sky Anchor is situational at best, and he's pretty much just a standard fighter by the second half of the game.

One of the only things Pixel Remaster got right was their version of Cyan's Bushido ability. Mostly.

I have kind of an obscure question that, for whatever reason, I haven't been able to find the answer to elsewhere.

The engraving in Daryl's tomb. ERAUQSSIDLROWEHT or whatever it was. What was it in the original Japanese? Was it something else?

For some reason this is what modders think difficulty mods should be like. See: FFT 1.3 where you have to set your party up to basically sandbag the enemy by rezzing your dudes as they go down and taking potshots when you can. Maps take FOREVER.

Also the pony mod was surprisingly fun, and I was completely lost since I have never watched an episode of MLP in my life.
There is a fucking excreble FF6 mod called NOVA, and good god is it one of the most profoundly unpleasant experiences I've ever had playing FF6. Imagine FF6, but with half the systems gutted and the bosses given such high HP that the game has to perform fucking workarounds because every single one later on is beyond the max HP you can have under the existing system (65,535) and then giving them multiple "lives" you have to drill through.

How about only three characters in the entire game (Terra, Celes, Strago) able to learn magic, even though anyone can use magicite. How about every single boss having final attack abilities of some sort? If ever there was a fucking standard on how much someone could miss the point on a game's core mechanics and yet convinced themselves they were hot shit, it was NOVA, and I'm thankful the internet seems to have mostly forgotten it ever existed.
