Toshinden is getting re-releases of the 3 PS1 games for it's 30th anniversary on "modern platforms" starting in 2026. Edia (the guys that have been re-releasing all the VALIS titles) made some sort of agreement with Takara to do this.

It sounds like they are going to be sold separately instead of a collection though, as the project is going to extend to 2028 (possibly). No BAT4 though, which is a let-down. It's the only one that was never given a US release.

That Avatar fighting game looks interesting, kind of looks like a Flash game made by fans. Seems fun and might have a bright future as a proper fighting game since the devs actually have an understanding of the game and can play at a high skill level, rather than whatever the fuck AAA fighting game devs are doing.

Omfg finally! We got the other fucking Kim twin
Now give me Freeman so I can stop screaming for him

The music at the end was ass but it's a remix of his theme from the og Garou so I can't be too negative

A "masked" Tekken 8 contender known as JoeBuddenTK challenged LTG (Dale Wilson) to a FT10 worth 50 gifted subs. Dale chickens out when his ego was bruised live on stream.

Riot is sacking a large part of the 2XKO team.

I just realized that it's been less than a month since 2XKO released, or rather, that it even released in the first place. Riot have been stubborn fucks in avoiding anything Valve since Dota 2 was announced, and somehow expected LoL/Valorant to carry it without otherwise having a proper platform like Steam. It had a better chance on consoles, but even then the marketing was non-existent.

That seems like an extreme reaction to a game that just came out. I also wonder how many people know it is actually out and not in beta anymore they didn't market or handle the actual release well?

Why arent you playing soul calibur 6?
I tried a few months ago after getting burnt out on Street Fighter 6. Fucked around a few hours in the story then tried to play ranked. It took about 10-15 minutes to get a match, the guy was 5 ranks above me, and it was laggy as fuck. I wish it was more popular because I loved playing as Geralt (and the Ciri CAW I made), but I couldn't deal with it anymore after that brief attempt.

Fatal Fury wins again baby.

The thing is just half baked from start to finish. They spent too much time, had too many people, and I'm not sure what even were the expectations out of something that would always be niche compared to other genres.

In general, even the people hyped for it originally simply forgot about it, and the released game is just anemic.

Then again, I didn't think much of Rising Thunder either.
