I might be a contrarian, but Ganacci and Ronaldo are fucking hilarious and the added fgc salt makes it perfect. This game will probably sell millions because of its normie appeal, just think of the fifa crowd. The World is fucking nuts.

All i wanted was a fast paced, modern fighter with some execution...

The more I see of this, the less I want to bother with COTW. And I was genuinely hyped but now my interest is smothered.

At least with Dimitri Vega or whatever the fuck in MK11, it was just a skin for Sub Zero. Doesn't excuse 5 movie guest characters but I digress.

But this is two wasted character slots no one asked for. Imagine maining the other Kim twin and hearing there's a new Garou.

Only for random ass soccer players and some shit synth dj to get announced before him.

Maybe this is why they didn't seem all that mad about the dlc leak and why it's basically going to be free.

I would probably still not buy the game if the celebrities were dlc, but I'm definitely not buying the game with then being in the base roster.
They should have just made them skins so no one would complain.
 
Other than Chun/Ken the rest of the dlc feels like they are base roster to me.

I think SNK forgot April Fools day was two days ago. But yeah, this is fucking stupid. If they were so dead set on adding this literally who, they coulda just made him as a skin for Duck King or something. So what's next? They're gonna add the actual Saudi prince as the final boss and have him genocide cutter everyone?

Has any fighting game streamer or youtuber had the balls yet to say this sucks and they hate it? So far I just seen them making jokes and light jabs at most, but are too afraid to offend someone or lose money over saying anything actually truly negative.
