If it was something like a mini game where you had to just defend say 20 scoring attempts on net by him that would be ok.

Ronaldo being a playable fighter... (Le 😔)
 
I didn't think it would be possible to make a character in a fighting game that would make me not buy a game. I don't give a fuck about soccer and this is gay as fuck.
 
This is what I was afraid of when they announced a Ronaldo tie in. I played the beta and was already somewhat dissapointed that they didn't reincorporate any traditional Fatal Fury gameplay elements into it and simply ported over the KOF fighting engine. GMOTW did the same thing admittedly, but that dissapointed me as well. I gather modern SNK games are not large sellers, so I imagine that they're trying to suck in the soccer fans with this? I'm going to wait for some message board reviews (as they tend to be non shill in nature) and go from there before buying.

Ronaldo plays for the Saudi league so it was probably the Saudi's idea. I am very angry about the positive reception to this and how people are defending this more than Negan and the main defense being how he's one of most famous people alive.
I have grown more racist towards non Americans.

Half of year 1 in SF6 is literally wasted on cameos when people beg for different legacy fighters to be brought back. Close to the launch of tekken 8, the polish bitch was 2 of the last 3 dlcs, being the last T7 dlc and second T8 dlc (or first?).

Fighting games are a fucking joke. They should ship 6 characters or more a year on top of having a roster twice as big at launch.
 
He's so uncanny looking, and they have to play it way too safe because it's a real guy. Fighting soccer guy's not an unworkable concept but I feel like you need to get your best character designer, make him huff gasoline and tell him take the stupid shit up to 11. learn from where Team American Sports stumbled.

No Vega or Cody is fucking killing me in SF6. Venom, my historic main in Guilty Gear, just came out for Strive actual years after I've moved on from the game in any serious capacity. I get that devs want to add new characters, but needing to wait a half decade for what were previously staple characters is beyond annoying.

Ronaldo looks like absolute shit. I thought it was going to be some weird advertising thing, not a fucking character slot. The ball doesn't even connect with his shit model when doing his attacks. I pray he's shit tier to never have to see him. What fascinates me the most is how BORING he looks. You can give the mongoloid some drip for fucks sake, we already have Vox who looks like "some guy" and he manages to have style.
 
He has a really weird looking face. It looks very out of place along everything and everyone else.

I hope this doesn't become a trend for SNK where they start bowing down to the Saudis even harder so we get, idk, the stupid prince or whatever.

Yall can save that shit for your mobile game no one plays.
