Or you could just play 5 on Fightcade for free. I'd recommend doing that. 5 Special and Samurai Shodown 2 are the best games in the series and the only ones seriously played by autists. V is a lot of fun and has amazing fatalities and is maybe the only Jap fighter with fatalities.

02UM is considered one of the most balanced KOF's and has the biggest roster of 60 something characters? I'm not going to count every single one but you can win with pretty much any character but most dudes just use Nameless (AKA K9999) and the usual Iori/Kyo and another top tier for their team.

Unless I'm misremembering, SSIII had fatalities. I know they were in IV alongside dial-a-combos.
What's your opinion on SamSho "6" ?

Lee having Law's backflip was just nuts to me. Has it happened before, copying iconic moves? It's comparable to the situation between baldurs gate 3 and divinity 2: 80% moves shared versus each class being 100% unique. And yet people just don't mind the gentrification.

I never really played 3. It's one of the bad games in the series.

On paper, 6 looks like the Alpha 3 of the series but in practice it just feels kind of off. It's hard to describe until you play it but it just feels kind of soulless and hollow.

  • The LK is not the same
  • the Forward HP is not the same, in fact Luke uses his elbow rather than his head and it flows upward instead of downward like Sean's head
  • Sean is using shoto-style fighting, while Luke is not
  • Luke shoots beams from his fists, which Sean clearly does not. Sean only has a fireball super
Conclusion: Sean fans are retarded and are grasping at straws because they can't detect specific details in animations.

That's what I thought of the first CvSNK game when it came out. I guess the only way to find out for sure is to find a used copy, I don't want to give any money to fucking Limited Run.

Speaking of SNK.

Are they using KOF XIV Ogura concept art? Hmmm. More importantly, I hope they will give us the old suits back from the Ash Saga. Those were simple but classy.

Although XII's sprites spoiled me.

Also completely random but for a while, Mature was stated to be bisexual on the SNK wiki with an article being cited from goddamn Kotaku. It was removed by the admins because it was just bullshit.

Goeniko is at least from SVC. Sure, she doesn't have the name, but she was there.
