.... It's kinda crazy when 50 bucks is considered worth a sale. But then again games are now being set at 70 which is ridiculous.

From what i can parse all of them are arcade ports with the website showing the ROM versions, Marvel vs capcom 2 specifically is the latest ROM of the arcade that patch the bug that let you do infinite combos so no lazy ports of the dreamcast or the ps2 version, this is kinda of a miracle considering how ass disney is, i suppose the sucess of xmen 97 make them reconsider and finally the damn thing is out of Fightcade

Disney must need some cash to make more bad star wars shows.
 
Another update: apparently games like X Men children of the atom and Marvel super heroes come with characters you could not normally play like Akuma, Magneto, Juggernaut, Thanos and Doom

Marvel vs Capcom 1 get Cyber Akuma that could only be accessed via hacks, screen flashing can be removed in setting

That MvC Collection also includes the Punisher arcade beat-em-up, if anyone cares.

I'm excited. I love MvC.... but if it comes out on PC as well, one feature I hope is included (or is modded in) is the ability to replace MvC2's soundtrack. I always hated the jazz music and the soft-speaking announcer you can barely fucking hear.

I said it before: just compare "Hyper Combo Finish!" in the first MvC to "Hyper Combo Finish" in the 2nd one.

I thought it was just me that was having issues last night. Took fucking forever for FC2 to initialize

I just hope the online experience for the collection will be better than on Fightcade (meaning more people, and different teams with different strategies rather than using the same playbook over and over again)
 
I remember for years searching up the prices for MvC 2 for the PS2 on eBay, and they were always absurdly expensive. It’s nice to see them in a full collection (especially with the Punisher), but I do hope they don’t randomly remove or change anything in he originals.
 
The world needs a compilation of the old Soul Calibur games. The only SC game available for modern systems nowadays is SC 6 and that's fucking bullshit

Mad late but this brings me back to playing the game on modded dreamcasts where the colors were super fucked and the soundtrack was almost always replaced with the most garbled rap imaginable and what sounded like Fred Durst choking on his own vomit
 
Old news but I am surprised this hasn't been posted. New Garou character trailer.

He looks pretty cool actually and has a flashy style. NGL though the red on his face and the leather jacket confused the shit outta me and I thought I was looking at Billy Kane for a sec.

The music that plays at the end is really shitty and I wish SNK would stop with that but otherwise awesome stuff. He sort of makes me think of Freeman minus the creep factor but given his backstory, I assume he's this game's Grant who wasn't playable in MoW. Kinda like Urien and Gill before SFV.

So with that being said, GIVE US FREEMAN.

And while I'm at it; KOFXV SEASON 3 DLC SO SHEN WOO CAN COME BACK AND I CAN KICK ASH'S FACE IN WITH THE COOLER CHARACTER THAT GOT SHAFTED BY HIM.

Question is who is third for a team?
I would vote for Guile or Zangeif but I bet Capcom would want one of the DEI fighters in there.
