I dunno about Kimberly - those oversized padded shoulders and her stupid standing animation look off to me. With the music move and spray cans, she's only one twerk taunt away from being a full-blown stereotype.

She sits in that middle ground of being slightly more interesting than Guy, but less interesting than Ibuki.

I'll do a little write up later about my experiences with the beta, but I will say that the character creator is the best since Oblivion. If you have any questions go ahead and ask.

Okay so after day one here are some of my thoughts:

Beta Specific issues:
  • Netcode is good, but I've had a few disconnects. I get an error message often that doesn't do anything.
  • Training mode is 'kinda' locked out. You can train while in a battle hub match (basically unranked). Obviously done so people are actually testing the netcode so it's whatever.
  • The game crashes on boot on the Steam Deck.
The Good:
  • This is genuinely the most fun I've ever had playing Ryu. I figured I'd switch to Ken or even Luke but I've stuck with him the entire time. The amount of tools he has now actually makes it so you can do more that cr. mk to hadoken.
  • Netcode is fine. I've had only a single match all day that had any lag issues. Outside of the disconnects I've had no issues in any matches.
  • Rematching is quick as hell.
  • Character customization is a hoot as you see above
  • This is probably more of the RE Engine's credit, but this game is very PC friendly. I haven't had any issues with using a mouse in menus and it doesn't break when alt tabbing.
The Bad:
  • This game is infected as all hell with woke nonsense. We've all seen it and I think it's funny that for all the virtue signaling they still removed the Taiwan and Hong Kong flags
  • I'm sure some Eventhubs fag will disagree, but I think Kimberly is the de facto strongest character right now, and everyone is playing her. I only saw 1 Jamie and not a single Luke.
  • For all it's customization options you can't turn off the event center music. I like to alt tab and listen to watch stuff but the things volume is attached to everything else.
  • This is a nitpick, but I've hated it since 5 that supers are only tied to one punch. I know it's been a thing since 2 but I get a lot of bad inputs that make me super instead of DP and it's driving me crazy. I would prefer 4's system where you press all 3 of the button type.
I'm having fun, but I don't want to give crapcom money for the faggot shit they added in. Most likely, I'll just get lucky and buy it off of a key site. I did the same with Guilty Gear and was able to get it and the season pass for less than the base game's retail.

How detailed were the PC settings with graphics etc? Does the beta have crossplay at all? Have you put in any time in with Ken and if so was he similar to his SFV version? Anything of note actually in the store right now or any hints to how monetization or unlocking new characters might go?

Phone posting right now, but in the morning I'll post some pics of the settings if you'd like. If you've played any of the modern RE games it's pretty comparable.

I played with Ken for maybe 10 minutes. He still has his dash V skill and they gave him 2 new specials. I'd need to play him more though

The in game store only has items for your avatar to wear. There currently 2 main currencies that I'm sure 1 will be a paid one in the full release. Currently there's a collection of challenges that are pretty basic put they do pay out quite well along with tournaments woth currency prizes. There's second store that's closed right now that I assume will be for characters.

Fucking this,jap always has a thing for flamboyant men since day 1.You can see those type almost everywhere in their mainstream media including video game and weeb shit.Picrel are minor bosses in God Hand(capcom 3d beat them up on ps2)

Can't edit my posts, but wanted to give an update. Valve put out a proton patch, fixing SF6 on Steam Deck. Perfectly playable if you have the hands for it.
