Sorry for double posting, but if anyone is interested I am actually still woring on my fighting game, so far I am still just working around the basic movement and inputs, and I just got combo strings working.
Now I should be able to create scriptable objects that will allow me to create the different combos by just selecting the different inputs from a list, and in theory just create a method that goes through a list of those objects and compered the current input array with that list.
Edit: also if enough people here are interested we could maybe make like a community thing and people could send me some designs and moves and I could try put them into the game.
I am obviously not really planning on selling it

SNK Producer Yasuyuki Oda Says "Both Parties Interested" in SNK Vs. Capcom Revival

Still waiting on Capcom Vs. SNK 3 to happen? SNK producer and designer Yasuyuki Oda recently spoke with VideoGamesChronicle (VGC), suggesting that a modern Capcom Vs. SNK or SNK Vs. Capcom crossover fighting game is possible in the future! Oda-san mentioned the hype generated by the recent EVO '22 collaboration artwork created by Shinkiro and Eisuke Ogura was well received by fans and "reconfirmed" the public's interest in a revival. When asked about his interest in working on a new crossover title, the SNK producer stated: "Definitely in the future, that's something that I think everybody on all sides, in both parties, are interested in making a reality."

"Especially after we saw the reaction to the (EVO 2022 posters)… it helped us reconfirm that that is probably one of the most wanted things from the fighting game community across the entire world," said producer Oda.

When VGC asked Yasuyuki Oda if there are any solid plans for the next Capcom Vs. SNK crossover title, Oda replied: "We haven't really talked in detail with anybody at Capcom about it. It might have come up as a vague comment.

"However, we have a lot of experience (in crossovers) with things like Akuma and Geese in TEKKEN 7, Terry Bogard in Fighting EX Layer, Terry in Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Baiken in Samurai Shodown," Oda continued. "But recently, we haven't actually done anything with Capcom, even on character collaboration stuff. So that EVO poster, in our sense, was the first step towards maybe something like that happening in the future."

Finally, VideoGamesChronicle asked the SNK producer how much longer anxious fans might have to wait for a new Capcom Vs. SNK fighting game, to which Oda-san replied: "20 years is definitely too long for me. We'll try and get it done in 10!"

While Oda claimed that no serious conversations between SNK and Capcom have taken place regarding a new crossover game, Capcom's own developers have expressed interest in the recent past. In 2021, Capcom Vs. SNK 2 director Hideaki Itsuno told Polygon that he would be interested in creating Capcom Vs. SNK 3.

Actually surprised how much info we got this event for SF6. They really are try to outdo themselves to make up for SFV's horrible launch.

The Extreme Battle stuff looks like stupid fun.

Their site crashed when I was trying to sign up for the beta. Was able to finally sign up for the PC one.

Tekken 8 is on its way. Any bets on how MainMan will sperg about Kazuya, or if we’ll get another magical DSP video?

I've never been a big fan of Tekken and I'd honestly call Harada the biggest cow of all fightfan base. (MikeZ did nothing wrong). He's the only one I can think of that's openly antagonistic to his fanbase.

18 character launch roster, and we already know who will be in Season 1 then. I'd bet my left nut this game releases in February or earlier.

Honda and Blanka are wasted slots. People hate on Sim but he has a very unique place. The lack of any 3rd Strike characters is the absolute worst.
I hate Sim as well for his lame keep-away play style but in a game with parries I don't think he'll be as annoying. But I'm shocked that there's not one single character from 3 or Alpha or a Final Fight character. They put Juri in for the coomers but they could have added C. Viper and I would have been okay with that. Gouken would have been cool. Just keep Fuerte the fuck away.

Since the farms lost my comment: I'll repeat it here:

I agree that the balance of characters is wack. SFV got the initial roster just right (the fact that they were all blonde is just bad luck lol). If I had my way with the 18 character roster it would be:

  • 6 World Warriors. Just get rid of Honda and Blanka and that would work.
  • 6 Newcomers. We're getting that already.
  • 6 Returning Characters. Cammy, Juri and Dee Jay are filling half of this. If I had my way the other 3 would be an SF3 character (Makoto), an SFV character (Necalli since we know Rashid is going to be DLC) and a long forgotten character (Eagle).
