Weeks later, Granola company fights back, claiming that love was actually a fun way of saying "jizz" and everyone has a hearty chuckle... except for the people that eat said granola. Maybe. I dunno, I used to live in CT and people out there can be freaks...

...shit, where is my granola from...

Yeah fuck you grandma, trying to poison me with that "love" shit

shit ain't even FDA approved

I agree with this actually.
It starts with one company listing love, but where do you draw the line? Soon companies are putting in all sorts of dumb shit and the labels begin to lose their value.
Also, remember that they're food labels, they're designed for the lowest common denominator that can barely read and can be assumed to have no critical thinking skills.

You've gotta draw the line somewhere, and I think that requiring 100% accuracy is a good place to draw it.

You'd have to be pretty exceptional to think that listing love as an ingredient was meant to be anything other than a cute selling point.

The agency said in a statement Wednesday that listing "love" as an ingredient was just one of several violations, including a failure by the company to clean and sanitize its baking equipment and facility properly.

The information about the use of "love" was included but is not among the agency's top concerns, the FDA said.

The bakery's CEO, John Gates, told The Associated Press the bakery will be "fully cooperative" with the FDA. He also said the bakery has a "cleaning contract of $100,000 per year," along with a pest control contract.

I'd be far more concerned about the possibility that curious rat and roach children who were made with love under the floor boards ended up being ground to bits along with the granola.

They were probably just trying to nip this in the bud before monsanto ran with this idea and started doing ingredients labels like "hope, love, integrity, peace, wisdom, high fructose corn syrup, family values"

The fuck love isn't a real ingredient. You can tell if someone cared about or not you when you eat food they made for you. Get outta here with your lies FDA.
