In the games, Ferrorthorn. It's such an absolute beast without being a legendary. If you can snuff out your opponents Fire coverage and get Ferrorthorn set up (which isn't hard considering it's walling ability) your win is pretty much guaranteed. It may have mediocre special defense, but if you're running Leech Seed/Protect/Leftovers that rarely causes an issue.

Lore wise (go ahead and gimmie the inevitable shit) Gardevoir. Loyal to the death, extreme psychic abilities that can create black holes, and in tune to it's trainers emotions which I would imagine can be very unstable in the terrifying world of Pokemon. It's definitely a teammate you would want around just to keep some sanity.

Wtf my favorite pokemons look like those emo groups that every school had in 2000

Top 3
- Garchomp, just a cool design, land shark.
-Volcarona, I love the name and moths IRL are cool.
-Crobat, always my MVP anytime I pick him up in a game

I like Eevee. Because it has a lot of potential to become different things. And they're all cute things. 🤗

Hydreigon, not a massive fan of the gen 5 roster, but it was still fun to get the KO on Fairy types like Xerneas and dropping them with a Flash Cannon during their flex set up turn.

Cute, and I can make it work on a competitive team!
When I used to have a 3DS with XY/ORAS/USUM, I had a Gen 5 Normal team with Bouffalant, Braviary, Unfezant, Sawsbuck (Winter Form), Stoutland, and Cincinno. Gen 5's Normal types was what made me grow to appreciate Normal types in general. That, plus the fact that Unova was based off of New York, I had to represent my home state.

Arcanine has been my favorite mon for about a full decade now. On top of just thinking he's a big, cool fluffy doggo I can ride places, they also have flexible base stats, a diverse movepool, and Growlithe has early-game availability in most main series entries.

Aside from my big puppy, I like a lot of Steel types. I'd probably be a steel gym leader/E4 trainer in-universe.

Heracross.
Nothing more.
That Megahorn, destroyer of worlds.
Pinsir is cooler than Heracross, but Heracross is better (at least when you don’t take Megas into consideration). *sigh*
I've always like Cubone but I think that's just because I feel bad for it because of its backstory.
>breed Marowak
>Cubone is born
>the Marowak is still alive
Where did Cubone get the skull?

Your tastes actually aren’t that bad. I personally don’t like Obstagoon but all the other mons on the list are at least passable. Steel is a pretty cool type.

It was a real toss-up between Zoroark, Obstagoon, Poochyena and Tyranitar, but Obstagoon ultimately won out cause I like running him competitively and I also like European badgers (in case my username didn't make that obvious)
