1. Gardevoir -- the very first time I played Pokemon Sapphire, I remember seeing Wally catch a Ralts and then saying "HEY I WANT ONE OF THOSE" and searching for hours to find one. I didn't know if it would be any good or not, it was a new Pokemon!! and I wanted it. Lo and behold, the thing's fantastic. Really helped in holding my team together, and ever since then, I've used one in every game it's available in. When Gen VI rolled around with the Fairy type and Mega Evolution, it only made it even better. (this was so goddamn spergy i'm so sorry)

2. Mawile -- Didn't use one until XY because I never had the right game for it, but I always liked its design. Again, the Fairy typing and Mega Evolution solidified it for me.

3. Mimikyu -- it's adorable and its whole thing about wanting to be as popular as Pikachu made me feel so sorry for it, so I used it in Moon and it's great.

4. Sylveon -- it honestly really surprised me. I loved using it in my team; it's actually pretty solid.

5. Alolan Ninetales -- my two favorite types merged into one Pokemon. Plus it has a gorgeous design. What more could I ask for?

Literally all Fairy types. ...Would you like to tell us something? :? (Kidding, Mimikyu and Gardevoir are both awesome. Used a Gardevoir myself in Sapphire before Fairy was a thing.)

Apart from that my fav starter is Tirtwig and my fav legends are Giritina/Victini.
 
I have a quite few favorites.
Gen I - Haunter/Gengar (Take your pick, tbh)
Gen II - Ampharos, Tyranitar
Gen III - Sceptile, Blaziken, Swellow, Breloom, Aggron, Milotic, Mawile, Gardevoir
Gen IV - Staraptor, Infernape, Croagunk, Froslass
Gen V - Braviary, Lilligant, Krookodile, Scrafty, Bisharp, Haxorus
Gen VI - Greninja, Floette/Florges, Hawlucha
Gen VII - Primarina, Decidueye, Mimikyu
 
i loved alot of the gen 4 Pokemon, though the Bronzor lines probs my fave, carried me through the entire game and ended up extremely overlevelled before the Elite 4.

It's gotta be Espurr for me.

Mostly because of the PTSD-face and the fact that its cry in the game sounds like a hiccup.
Also because it gets the angry eyebrows when you try petting its ears:

The organ that emits its intense psychic power is sheltered by its ears to keep power from leaking out.
It has enough psychic energy to blast everything within 300 feet of itself, but it has no control over its power.

You mean I've been dressing my boy Bidoof in bows and dresses and this whole time I've been encouragng this behavior?
 
I have too many to name. Incineroar, Gengar, Mimikyu, Hawlucha, Pyukumuku, Metagross, Latias, Dusknoir, Golurk, Sawk & Throh, any of the Eeveelutions (especially Sylveon), the Bewear evolutionary line... that's not even all of them.
