You have a specific time where this happens? It might be people whispering in the background.

I think he might mean that he repeats what Chris says like he can't believe he just heard that and is saying it again to make sure.

I know what @Goochole means, I noticed it too. Haven't listened to it recently, but that was my recollection of the vibe I got.

Yeah, I've heard people mention this before. I just don't feel like sitting through the call again to find specific parts.

He does it quite a lot actually, and its not people whispering, its matthew himself doing it.

I think they're talking about something else. In these examples, he's not whispering, he's just repeating what Chris just said to mock him.
 
I always wondered if Chris could hear that whispering, because it was actually pretty distracting at points. In the back of his mind, did he hear it and realize he was being played? Or did he feel like he was maybe losing his mind from anxiety? Or was he repeating the conversation back in his head so hard that the whispering just merged with his internal monologue.

Still a masterful piece of free entertainment. Maybe doubly so when you realize that Chris hears so many video game noises that he could automatically tune them out and not wonder why an elderly Marine was playing portal.

Yeah, right, now that I think about it more you are right. I do recall hearing whispering that seemed to be him talking to someone else. I just assumed he was talking to Kacey, I assume she was in same room as "Matt"? Anyway, point is, @Goochole is right, there are mutterings, whisperings etc that are more than just the mocking.

@Marvin check out around 10:32. (Yeah, like an idiot I am listening to Chris babble like a fool). But getting high helps to cope.

Post more as I hear them. Then you can spill the beans man!

We did these calls in Skype and Mumble, so it was probably other people in the chat.
 
I like the random access humor ones above where CWC is basically acting like a complete fool in the good old days.

The one that came to mind for me was the following:

The best part of which- if you can get past the crotch flashing- is his continued attempt to act scary even though he is utterly incompetent at even opening a swiss army knife.
