They're talking about Archimedes, the main villain of Extella, without him there was ABSOLUTELY no way that the events that lead to Altera (Child) could have happened, the game constantly remind you of events that happened in the first Extella (The fight against the White Titan, Your fight vs the Umbral star, the fact that people from earth are now coming to the Moon Cell etc etc)

When you are conversing with Archimedes he mention Altera child as a "Foreigner", Hakuno immediately make the connection that is a new servant Class and he is not wrong, Altera can be a Foreigner if you stretch the mean (not that Mysterious Heroine XX fucked with the concept)
There is a part where they try to explain why someone like Charlemagne has not been summoned before in any other Holy Grail War (cough FGO cough)

The official excuse of Higashide is that if you try to summon him in any way 10/10 times you are going to summon Karl (his ruler version) with memories of his Saber class because apparently the Saber one is based in the legends where he appears (like Orlando Furioso) because the Saber version only have memories of going to adventures, slaying magical beast and being a all round badass, the Ruler is based in the actual historical facts about him that is being the father of Europe and for ((SOME)) reason the Saber one is not registered in the throne of heroes

Sadly Higashide forgot that in a place where you can summon alternate versions of a servant from even other timelines and possibilities (Artoria is a good example), a place where following certain events you can register and can summon a servant that should not possibly exist (Jailter), a place where even fictional characters can be summoned if they are popular enough (Sherlock Holmes, James Moriarty and if you follow Moriarty dialog even Fu Manchu) that excuse fly out of the window, you can summon him without any problems and he could even fly as Charlemagne Lilly

Funny thing EMIYA point that summoning several version of the same servant is possible and he mentions Li Shuwen as a example, this come from FGO where you can summon him as Lancer and as a Assassin
Another thing that come imported from FGO are the summer skins for Scatach and Tamamo, heck you can even go the full experience because Gae Bolg Alternative and the Castration kick are skills you can use so if you want to go kicking robots and people in the nuts or kicking the spear Chilean style now you can!
Elizabeth got the most FGO wanking because she got Phantom Maiden as a skill (is Carmilla NP) and has a boost called "Elizabeth particles" a thing that appeared in the third FGO Halloween event
Nero did not get to much swag, the only thing that she got from FGO are her new skills that were implemented recently and a skin that first appeared in a CE in the FGO in New York event
Scatach in the other hand was implemented in a weird way because she has all her skills of FGO but her NP is Gate of Skye, yep she has Skadi NP for some reason, also several people i could talk in my exile told me they were heavily disappointed because the PV of the game showed that she would have a better role, instead she appears a a villain and only last 1 level until you kill her, if did not help that she mentions that Karl is stronger than her in any way when in reality she can kick the fuck out of everything for being a candidate for Top Lancer but >Higashide, sadly for those who are fan of her, she is just a stronger and more slower Cu Chulainn when you use her
Still the main story is a huge mess, obviously Nasu did not give a shit because you cant see his writing anywhere, not like Extella that is was full wiped-by-takeuchi-nasu is more like "meh-i-need-to-play-sekiro-nasu", the gameplay is fun and all but lel i would not take it to seriously
