Kinda sorta - 4* Dupes, after you get that character to NP5, can be sold to the Shop for Rare Prisms, which are used for one of the Shop Menus. 5* Dupes, after NP5, give you an item that, once you get 10 of - so good fucking luck - can be redeemed for any of the Standard 5*'s or whoever's on Rate Up. I guess also Servant Coins, but those are used for Extra Skills and getting a character up to level 120, which is it's own hell.
Beyond that, just the general tips of "Be prepared to Grind" because the early maps had shit drop rates but you're going to want to level your skills, and fair warning that there's a definite difficulty spike that coincides with the story becoming not shit.
Since the poster above me explained what duplicates do, I'll give you some other advises;
1.Save up on Mana Prisms (green cubes) because at the beginning of each month, the mana prism shop resets and you will be able to purchase Summoning Tickets (item that lets you single roll without wasting your saint quartz/currency) and embers of wisdom (item that you use to level up your servant) mana prisms are easy to get through questing and doing events.
2. The content gap between FGO in Japan and NA is 2 years, (ex. Content that was released in Japan in 2021 will be released on NA this year), so if you have a servant that you really like and let's say they were released first in Japan in 2022 and are gonna be available on NA at 2024, you have lots of time to save up for that servant. There's also this page that shows the upcoming summoning banners, same applies for event and story releases.
3. There are many ways to get SQ aside from doing story and free quests, such as Strengthening and Interludes that are available for your servants, because every time you do them you get 2 SQ but also every time you complete 10 interludes or strengthening you get 10 SQ. Also if you log in the game consecutively for 50 days you will get 30 SQ.
4. Don't fall for the meme of that SSRs and SR are only valuable, because some lower star servants are extremely valuable especially for people who are just starting wherever it's for farming or fighting bosses.
5.For this year anniversary (which will be around June or July), you will be eligible to pick one SSR servant and my suggestion is to pick Zhunge Liang because he's a good support servant that can charge a servant's NP gauge to 50%, give defense and an attack buff.
6. Right now, there are two "metas" that are popular for farming, one is the Arts meta (which requires you to have Artoria Caster) that is focused on farming with servants that have AoE Arts Noble Phantasms (Blue attacks) and other is Buster (requires an upcoming servant Koyanskaya) and focuses on farming with AoE Buster (red attacks). Even if you don't have them or don't get them, since both of them are limited SSR, they have re-occurring banners and many people on support list will have them too. There are also other alternative ways for farming without having fancy SSRs.
7. Grail out of love and not out of obligation to follow the """meta""".
EDIT: I forgot to add that for farming things such as materials and XP embers, the best way to farm is to do it during lotto events (unless they're re-runs). NA is gonna have a lotto event soon after the new story release and later on Christmas.

I wanted to make a post with all of the new things in Ordeal Call update but I was bit busy with finishing first part of LB6, but I'll new stuff here.
The first batch of servants for this chapter available for summoning are Bhima and Duryodhana.

His skills are the following
Skill 1 - Applies guts to himself for 3 turns, increases the NP gauge and cleanses debuffs from himself
Skill 2- Increased Buster damage and crit damage for 3 turns, also grants 5-15 stars
Skill 3- Increased critical strenght for 3 turns, removes buffs and deals damage to the enemy.
Also applies trigger on buster and quick attacks for 3 turns (Increased critical strenght if quick, gain 5 stars if buster)
His NP is single target damage, removes buffs from the enemy and deals damage. If overcharged it has a chance
to deal an additional power attack.

Saber Medusa - Her NP is Quick ST. She's the Servant of Sakura Matou.
Durga (left) and Kali (right)- Durga is an archer, servant of Rani XII and Kali is an alter ego servant.
Kali is also as mentioned in post above the final boss of this chapter. It's speculated she's gonna have a Melusine gimmick where her not only
her changes but her class as well in this case.
Bluebeard- His sprite is same as Saber Gilles but his class is a Caster. He is not Gilles but
the titular character from the story Bluebeard.
Also few hours ago, FGO website has updated the character
silhouettes for upcoming Ordeal call stuff.

About time they added a special attack animation to NPs based on overcharge, its such a simple idea that could be applied to more servants if they ever do another round of animation updates.

Honestly I think this shot was more intentional to look "AI-ish" because the whole chapter is focused on you going inside of Paper Moon and meeting AI copies of masters, Rani and her clones.
Hell, we even meet all of Rani's clones that are shown in the shot and each one is drawn by a different artist and the main one in charge is drawn by Wada Arco who drew her in Fate/Extra series.

She's a limited SSR
Her skills are the following:
S1- NP gauge self-charge and overcharging party's NP for one time, 3 turns (At level 10 she can charge 50%)
S2-3 turn self-invincibility for 3 attacks and 3 turn increased performance for Arts, Buster and Quick
S3-Changes all command cards to Arts for 1 turn, increased NP damage for 3 turns and ignore invincibility for 1 turn
Her NP is AoE Arts that has increased damage against Sky/Heaven enemies for 1 turn, deals extra to Demonic enemies
and decreases defense to all enemies for 20%.
TL;DR
Jokes aside, I like her stage 2 ascension, it's very pretty.
Stanger fake is getting a full anime series, was announced at the end of the screening for the special at AX.

Unfortunately, we're not going to get any strange/fake servants at least for a while, because Narita is really has a tight grip on his characters and would prefer to finish fake/strange, which will take a while due to Narita taking breaks because of his medical issues, before letting them be implemented in FGO, and Nasu had to take a lot of time to convince Narita to allow Enkidu to be in FGO's story.
But with that being said I would like to see the No Name Assassin/False Assassin, False Berserker and True Archer.
New JP event dropped, it's a tower climbing event and along with it, Medusa Saber
is released as SSR Limited Saber.
S1- Chance to petrify an enemy (the higher the skill is the bigger is the chance) for 1 turn, increased

health gets lowered
S3-Charges party's NP gauge, increased party NP damage and grants guts for 1 time, 3 turns
This year's summer event will be written by Nasu.
Along with Summer Castoria, Summer Suzuka, Chloe and costumes for Knights of
Round Table, Oberon will also get a summer costume and Tam Lin/Faerie knights are getting their own summer variations.

As for this year's gacha, it comes in two variations.
The first is the classic 15 SQ gacha and other is 30 SQ gacha
In the 30 SQ GSSR banner, you pick a servant for each class and then roll for it.
You can pick any SSR servant wherever they are Limited, Story locked or just regular.
Even if you roll the 30 SQ banner, you will be still able to roll on the regular GSSR 15 SQ banners .
Bit disappointed with there not being gameplay improvements and the anniversary servant

I really need to get through FSN but can anyone who has briefly explain the mind of steel ending because a lot of people are freaking out that the SERAPH manga adaptation fully relieved/confirmed Emiya Alter is the specific version of Shirou from that ending and how Kiara corrupted him, tricked him into killing Tiaga.

Through this ending Shirou basically ends up becoming Kiritsugu 2.0, disconnected from humanity and people that he used to know.
It's heavily implied in that ending, he becomes an extreme murder machine that has no issues killing any master as long as he gets to destroy the Holy Grail, even if those masters could be someone he knows like Illya and Rin

It makes sense. Fate is all about little decisions leading to massive consequences and killing sakura, rin and illya is not a little decision for Shirou since they're his whole support network outside of Taiga (and they also support Taiga by extension).
Also, Shirou LOVES Taiga as his only family and when Rin threatens to ignore Taiga being held hostage, Shirou starts contemplating murdering Rin if she goes that far.

Personally, I feel very divided because the situation is extremely complicated.
Mainly because FGO Kiara and OG/Emiya's Kiara are two different people.
FGO Kiara got fucked because she was a bright woman that managed to escape
the batshit insane Buddhist sex cult she was born in thanks to being healed by an outsider and get a chance to use
her therapeutic abilities for genuine good, only to have Zepar corrupt and be reversed back to her OG counterpart self due to her being at the wrong place, at wrong time while working as spiritual/religious therapist.
Meanwhile OG/Emiya Kiara is a product of being bed-ridden till the age of 14 and raised in a batshit insane sex cult
with no outsider intervention. The cult she was born in hailed her as a prophet, taught her extremely fucked up/selfish
definition of love and morality.
What Emiya's universe Kiara did as incredibly fucked up and I am surprised/shocked
the manga chose to include this part in, but honestly people that reacted instantly by
raising their pitchforks and reeing about this, unfortunately missed the point of Fate's writing
and were the same people that we're yelling "OMG Fuck Zepar" when we got glimpse of
pre-corrupted Kiara a year or two ago.

I think you're right. The ability to buff the entire party for 50% on turn 2 is big for boss fights where you might have to charge a second DPS and Castoria.
