I have only played a few missions, I'm waiting for Ubishit to patch their game so that the soldiers don't respawn behind my back every 30s. I'm already tired of the "Castillo's forces are hunting you" and it's squad after squad of soldiers with RPGs.

Nah, I like Far Cry but the DLC's have always been shit.
it's like the yeti from FC4 but the MC and the coop partner are the same looking ones.
not that fun, honest.
lost on mars has some nice weapons, dude.
the rest can die in a fire but yeah.
also let's just consider blood dragon an expansion rather than a DLC as to not throw such a nice piece of game into the same category as a bunch of shit.

Ass Creed is the same. I recall buying AC 2 on day one and didn't activate the shitty DLC until three years after.
As for Far Cry, I used to think I wasn't a fan, but I've been playing most of them since 2 and have a lot better memories of them than AC which age like cheese. Have been playing five which surprised me how good it is. I might buy New Dawn because of it.

It was stand alone so I don't count it as DLC.
Blood Dragon, Primal, New Dawn were all sold stand alone.
The Yeti stuff, Vietnam/Mars/Zombie Movie were DLC's that required Far Cry 4 and 5.

after letting 6's ending sit for a bit , i dont hate it as much. While i still wish we had the option of taking over the country and becoming the dictator , the ending we got is probably much bleaker for the nation. A bunch of young (and like 1 old boomer) now have all the power and have to make the nation work with its newly made power vacuum , while the only person who held them all together walks out , the lack of choice annoys me but i do enjoy the bleak future we made.

It's very similar in design to FC4’s Escape From Durgesh DLC which seems a strange choice because of how poorly received that DLC was (although I'm apparently a weirdo and really loved that DLC). Seems kinda clear that they were taking Vaas' "insanity" catchphrase and putting into gameplay form. It's different in that there's no timer and it has a new map, but it’s a tiny map, and there's story elements that go into Vaas' and Citra's background. In any case you acquire money through killing and challenges to build up your characters skills and weapons and eventually escape the map. It’s a bit challenging, at least at the beginning, keeps you on your toes. If you don’t like repetition then avoid. It’s nice hearing Michael Mando as Vaas again and some care went into the DLC to tickle your FC3 memberberries with audio and visual callbacks and cues.
As mentioned it's repetitive and the small map, simple, overly basic challenges and the lack of the timer that Durgesh had makes it seem a little empty with no urgency. If nothing else, while I haven’t finished, there doesn’t seem to be any disgusting clownworld horseshit that infected every aspect of the story of FC6, which so far is just a nice relief. Above all though it just makes me want to play FC3 again.

Don't forget the epic opening sequence with Paper Planes by MIA playing during the vacation montage. Once of the best ways to set the tone right before starting the game and meeting Vaas on the tropical paradise.

lol Far Cry 6 died off fast. Even for me. I don't think I've touched it since November started.
Anyways, everyone is telling me these villain DLC's are cool but I'm not buying them. Apparently so far they reveal that Vaas survived Far Cry 3 and Pagan Min gave Ajay a bunch of nukes which he decided to launch at Montana for some reason if anyone cares.

lol I'm never buying any far cry dlc ever again after how awful Far Cry 5 was.
I got my month out of Far Cry 6 and enjoyed it, that's good enough for me.

Funny thing is, Far Cry 6 still presents the troon brigade as being completely inept without Dani. Outside of the one mission where you have to hear the shitty trans couple rap I just skipped the cutscenes and tried to pretend I'm fighting for an actual rebellion. (which is funny enough something I've done with most Far Cry games, but Far Cry 6 story and pandering are especially shitty)
