Remember this? I sure did! My friend and I were talking about an entirely unrelated shitty fanfiction, and the subject of misery porn came up. Suddenly, I remembered this shitfest of a fanfic! I went to check on where it is now, and lo and behold!OH MAN I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG TO DUMP THIS FIND SOMEWHERE.
So I have a friend who writes a post-apoc fic for the Daredevil fandom, and every so often we play a game together we call "Fanfic Roulette" in which we browse our favorite fandoms and look for stories and decide whether or not they make us want to shoot ourselves in the fucking head. You don't really win or lose the game, you just suffer.
This is the crown jewel of our game.
There's so much to this trainwreck I don't even know where to begin. The fact that it's stated in-story that Matt's got autism from being gangraped? The brony shit? Butchering Tony Stark's characterization worse than Age of Ultron? The number of fangirls schlicking themselves to this?
I get plot updates from someone brave enough to have actually read it. It's pretty much turned autism into a fetish. I'm not exaggerating.
There's even some new tags to enjoy!

I can't imagine the fanfic people wrote off of Ultra Despair Girls.
Due to tags I always find AO3 to be the place the most awful fanfic.
