Man, this is pretty vanilla. Less of a Fanfiction Horror and more like par for the course. I'm probably gonna regret saying this but try to find something more vomit inducing.
 
I know someone else brought darkwing dork's reading of the smurf torture fic earlier on the thread but I don't think that they posted it so here it is. NSFL

Some small part of me has a feeling that there is a risotto nero bdsm fanfic where goth boi is the sub (i mean ffs he's wearing a chest harness which is something worn by subs) but the larger part of me would rather not want to find out for fear of what kind of pandora's box that would open.

I'm begging someone out there to PLEASE explain the obsession over yanderes. I see them pop up in Jojo AO3 a lot and I just. Why? Why why WHY? Why would you ignore the "don't stick your dick in crazy" rule?
I also hate this particular user because they use almost every imaginable tag on their fics and it is QUITE the eye sore.

From my perspective yanderes if done right can be horrifying and fantastic, as the concept of them perverse what we typically see as positives (being caring, protective, loving, etc) in a person upping them to 1000 and corrupting them into a twisted version of love is why I personally like a good yandere character/story. But it seems like this person just likes them due to them being trendy right now and/or sick fuck.

Because I'm a fucking masochist and bored, I parsed through this fanfic and my god. All the chapters are just. Straight up domestic abuse. It's not even really sexy or a fantasy when gaslighting and literal non sexy rape is everywhere.

I knew it was the author being a sick fuck jumping on a big trend in the weeb world as of now. You can tell which ones are doing it because they think it's an interesting concept or doing it because edgelord by the quality of the work and playing with the ideals of a good partner and twisting them into something really disturbing.

I think the worse part about fics like these (besides the obvious fetish) is the fact that characters are more out of character than your vanilla bad shipping fic a highschooler wrote JUST so the author can jack off to it. At least with other writers, you can tell they have a passion for the property and put actual care and effort into keeping characters as close as possible to the original work. This just feels so hollow like they jumped on a bandwagon.

Did I mention this yandere series is on it's 29th entry AND the breeding series is on it's 26th? I swear, the breeding and pregnancy fetishists can be as weird as the torture and gore ones.

It gets even more fucked when you combine breeding/pregnancy with the gore/torture porn shit. I have had the misfortune of reading a "yandere" fanfic for 'A Serbian Film' of all things. I'm pretty sure I posted it on the thread, but let's just say the author can't grammar 101 for shit and can't write a compelling story in the slightest. One of the hardest parts of a yandere fanfic is trying to keep the character in character while having them be cuckoo, but if done well it can be a fun read or you can take the alternative in which you give a reason why they are out of character that can be explained by something in-universe, like a 'what-if' scenario.

Unfortunately, I haven't found that incharacter yandere fic. Ever. Anywhere. MAYBE in the Homestuck fandom but that ficlet is probably long gone. All that's left is fucked up smut dressed up as either "uwu, so HAWT" or "I'm TOTALLY just trying to mess around with fucked up stuff".
On another note, Jojo has a surprising amount of pregnancy fics when most parts have 1 female at most. It's usually not the expected butt babies, though, and is mostly characters now being transmen. Makes ya really wonder if this is just the yaoi days of the 2000s in some new duds :thinking:
