The stories of Travis are something else. They seem to take place in a bizarro universe where everybody is autistic. There is not a single realistic line of dialogue or character motivation in anything he’s ever written. The prose is at “Dick and Jane” levels which clashes with his obsession with genital mutilation and urination into a Freudian nightmare. Motherfucker’s got issues.

On a lighter note imagine that “My Immortal” had instead been written by a gangsta teenager instead of a “goff”. Then imagine our protagonist goes back in time to Biblical Judea to make sure fried chicken is invented as it’s the power source for his magic. And Jews ride dollar bills as magic carpets. And remember: IF U FLAM UR RASSIST!

What I find most disturbing about that story is not the subject matter itself, but the fact that - being a My Little Pony fanfiction and vaguely overlapping with "creepypasta" - it attracted a legitimate fanbase primarily consisting of 13-year-olds. For the uninitiated, Sweet Apple Massacre is story ostensibly written by an adult man about a male character raping and murdering his grade school-aged little sister and two of her friends.

Murdering and raping three kids and his other sister as the next target.
That ain't even the worst thing yet. The man wrote it in retaliation for dying in a game by a brony. He didn't write it bad on accident. He did this on purpose.

Do you enjoy seeing canon being raped before your very eyes, or having your brain bludgeoned by numerous logical fallacies?

Then you'll love The x-Blade Wielder by cmsully!

The protagonist of this riveting tale is Heavyn Lee, whose raven hair and purple eyes which no one else in her family has are so beautifully coordinated with her plain purple and black wardrobe. Heavyn is obsessed with a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, especially after the tragic deaths of her family, so tragic that her friends don't visit her house because of the chance that it's haunted and totally not because Heavyn is an anti-social fantard who never leaves her house. As a result, Heavyn is all alone in the world because she doesn't do anything save for play vidya and her tragic life story takes a turn for the worse when the shop she works for part-time can't afford to keep her on as an employee anymore.

Heavyn's luck finally changes when Riku's replica from Chain of Memories appears in her world, unconscious, which Heavyn realizes with shock means Kingdom Hearts is real and now she can live out the fanfic cliche of a girl falling into the fantasy world. Once the replica has awakened, Heavyn tells him of how she rescued him and she repeatedly refers to him as Repliku (his fanon name), dooming the character who was very pissed to discover that he was a fake to being forever reminded of that fact which he accepts wholeheartedly as his new name to express his newfound identity as his own person. He and Heavyn bond over Heavyn's tragic past about her dead parents, but eventually all pleasantries come to an end when Heavyn is captured and used as bait for Repliku to come save her.

Thankfully, she's not alone, for Kairi has been captured as well. Using her knowledge from the games (which doesn't creep anyone out at all), Heavyn gets out of her current situation by telling everyone (including the villain Xehanort) spoilers from the games.

And who, might you be wondering, is the x-blade wielder? None other than Heavyn herself!

It's only up to chapter 46 and it's implied the writer will continue it at some point, but there's still a lot of reading ahead of you for any who wish to try and a ton of canon-smashing in the first goddamn chapter. Much like DisneyFan01's Faithful Hearts/Faith of the Heart, it does feature some non-Disney/non-Square Enix works. (I know for certain characters from the Inheritance Cycle show up.)

What baffles me the most about this fic is that Kingdom Hearts is a series where you don't even need a "real girl falls into the video game world" scenario since it's established there are other worlds out there. That and Heavyn is too dumb to live. She tells the villain a major spoiler that's relevant to his plans as proof that she knows a lot about them (which is kinda creepy anyway). She may as well have a target painted on her back.

Here's another one. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon–Francis The Snivy is a special kind of stupid. It puts the PMD world in our world, complete with radios, satellites, cars, TVs, Xboxes of all consoles, Fifa, basketball and football, crosses over with Halo, the author stops the story at some points to review video games or provide walkthroughs, and a bizarre emphasis on Francis fainting constantly. Commentary here.
