I work with a chick named Meg and it takes every fiber of my being to not get fired for saying "Shut up, Meg" every time I am around her. I doubt anyone I work with has ever seen an episode.

I'm surprised there wasn't a Family Guy thread.

I love the first few seasons of Family Guy. Back when Brian wasn't annoying for no reason, Peter actually tried to be a loving father who wasn't very bright instead of an inept abusive retard. Lois wasn't a whore, Cleveland was still a white guy.
I loved the first three seasons of Family Guy. I'm sure with the TV/music buff Seth MacFarlane is, Family Guy was influenced from older sitcoms like The Honeymooners, All in the Family, and even their friendly rival, The Simpsons.

I missed how heartwarming and comedic moments like this.

muh first three seasons

Family Guy's good for dumb laughs and I appreciate that it doesn't take itself seriously.

Couldn't find the clip I wanted (Joe chainsawing his own legs off while being distracted by Brian's new teeth) so I'll post this one instead for the thread tax:

Did anyone else have Family Guy ruined for them after South Park did the 2 part episode about them? Ever since then I started watching and laughing at FG less and less until I finally gave up on whatever season they were on when Hulu was still free when I watched a few episodes and didn't laugh once. Maybe I needed to get the dvds with all the "extra edgy jokes they cut out" to make it funny but they became too try hard after a point. Are they still making current seasons? I don't think I've heard or seen anything about FG in at least 10 years.
