Satellaview broadcasted live and the files were not saved iirc.
IIRC we do have the files but not the backing audio stream, so in the game the audio is completely broken and some things like visual effect triggers don't go off (aka, the same situation with SMB2 satellaview). There's a satellaview backend emulator now though so I wouldn't put it beyond the community to reconstruct the game if this rerelease gets any popularity.

If Nintendo is willing to give love to something this obscure does this mean there's hope for Advance Wars after all?

I just finished Girl who Stands Behind.

Even though I’ve played the Super Famicom Rom a million times, I had a great time experiencing the story once more with upgraded graphics. My only complaint is that the ost Revealed and Rumour about The Girl are a little... underwhelming, The rest is great though. I haven’t done The Missing Heir yet, but I’ll start tonight.

Usually I turn on the original soundtrack when given the option but the remastered music is very good.

The Zelda games are playable. But maybe that's a different situation.

Is there a chance that the Satellaview game would come out in America? I liked the first game (though I felt it was a bit overpriced for such a short game, which is why I homebrewed my switch and pirated the 2nd) and the 2nd game is pretty good so far.

Are these digital only or did they get a physical release?
Digital-only. There is a limited edition exclusive to Japan but bear in mind the japanese release doesn't have english language.

I gotta say that the corpses we have to investigate in both games are kind of spooky looking. Kudos to the artists for managing to do that much. Idk why they spook me so much more than typical anime gore (or movie gore for that matter).
yeah whoever in charge of the animation really did an amazing job. The background scenes in the Missing Heir are also really good and lively overall

These look really interesting, but $60 feels steep for what amounts to two detective visual novel games. I'm not knowledgeable on the genre I admit, but it's a little much. Hell just one of them is $35.
I’m not sure if it applies to your region, but if you buy one of the games then you get a discount on the other (I have to look it up again since I pre ordered them).

Edit: this kind Youtuber has uploaded the entire OST for Girl who Stands Behind and The Missing Heir.
