  • Its the Mysterious Stranger, same dude with the robot hand in the Trenchcoat (look at the hands)
Highly doubt this

The Mysterious Stranger in Fallout 3 was a reference to a perk in Fallout 1 and 2 that operated very similarly. Randomly a guy wearing a trench coat would appear out of nowhere and aid the player. New Vegas did the same thing although it added a very amusing easter egg reference to the Mysterious Stranger in the form of The Lonesome Drifter. He also didn't have a robot hand.

I'm doubting they'd have the Mysterious Stranger dressed in a Vault suit, or feature him in the story.

So I was thinking, what are the chances that the PC is an android? The trailer showed parts that seemed to be occurring as the nukes actually fell, and then showed scenes clearly happening post-apocalypse. I think a big twist where the weird dreams your having is actually flashbacks to when you were fully human seems likely.

I kinda thought of that as well. Pretty much guessing that the PC is an android that could either of been a pre-war human or an android that was given the memories of a pre-war human.

I came when I saw the new T-60 Power Armor.
One thing I really appreciated out of the entire Fallout showcase was the way the character got into the Power Armor. I thought that was neat as fuck, even if it confused me a tiny bit as I thought you just put it on piece by piece.
The settlement building looked cool as did the weapon modification, but other than that...eh I just wasn't all into it. The "DYNAMIC DIALOGUE SYSTEM" looked pretty dumb honestly, wasn't a fan of being limited to four dialogue options or less.

Hahaha, it actually starts before the war, just like I've thought.

That Mass Effect-esque dialogue system, though...

Just watched the gameplay. I wonder what the 1000s of names are for Codsworth to call you. I wonder what it does when it cant say your name.

The Fallout Shelter game actually looks fun.
Dishonored 2 is also going to be a blast.

Dis...Dishonored 2? Is Corvo going to get Dishonored again?
(I should have probably looked this up before posting but fuck it)
Never mind, that's fantastic
Although shelling out for a new system thanks to Bethesda games is not so much.

Its Emily this time. Looks like its in Pandessyia.

Come this November I'm going to be running around town like a doofus with my pipboy on, making whooshing sound effects and pretending I'm using my V.A.T.S. to target people around me.

Same here, plus with the power armor having a jetpack along with the customization they showed for the weapons. I know hype can kill the actual experience but this honestly makes me want to play the game.

I like how the game actually feels a bit more alive rather than the general Gamebyro stiffness we've all grown used to.

Except the animations.

The entire Fallout part of BE3, including stuff like concept art and the showcase of weapon modifications, armour customization and the construction system. Note the latter - you can literally disassemble whole buildings and construct new stuff from it.
