At 1:22 he is saying that "fascists" only understand violence, so you must confront them with violence. At 1:31, after saying that "cities will burn" after Trump gets reelected, the journalist says "do what you gotta do", and Jurek nods his head in agreement, responding with self-inflative nonsense about saving human civilization, because Trump clearly doesn't care if the world burns. I could go on, but you get the point. There is nothing that signifies that these statements are meant to be humorous in any way, despite any exaggerative terminology used in them.

Since our report, we have received several anonymous tips from people who know Jurek. One from a campaign staffer, who says Sanders Iowa State Director Misty Rebik knew of Jurek’s radicalism and should have never hired him.

Even more disturbing is a tip from people who know Jurek personally. They say Jurek is dangerous and becoming more radicalized. They worry he might try to assassinate President Trump. Our General Counsel has reported this information to the US Secret Service.

That's all true until it isn't. You could say the same of every school shooter. And so collosally overwriting your world view with that level of dehumanization and life-or-death need for violence is inevitably goging to lead a bunch of these fuckers to get more and more extreme. Especially since they have no legal repercussions, and the media won't confront anything about this shit, not to mention a potential presidential candidate. It gets normalized, and then it becomes necessayr, then it becomes a fact.

Bernie Sanders is a great example of a political lightning rod. He was by far the most visible Socialist politician in America, the only one in Congress, and he was willing to accept support from anyone. He really caught fire back in 2011 when he was threatening to primary Obama, although the educated political junkies were completely oblivious to his ascent.

A part of that was their reliance on the old media to censor dissent, and an even larger part was sheer incompetence. Bernie Sanders was written off as being a non entity for the exact reason that he caught on and became a meme- he was the only game in town. You could either follow Bernie or you could get out of the way.

Meanwhile, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were busy being told by their professional consultants that there was zero threat, he's by himself, he's just a single charismatic nutcase.

So what you're warning us about already happened. Don't underestimate anyone. Unfortunately for Bernard, he is now a known quantity. He's not being underestimated, he's being observed. Now that the mistake of underestimating this fool has already been learned, it won't be repeated.
