I wonder what this guy's bomb vest was constructed of. Did he just like, put gunpowder into plastic bags and strap it to his body? How do you fuck up something as comparatively easy as making a goddamn pipe bomb and taping it to your chest?

How easy is it to get explosives in New York, or the US in general? Could Ntwadumela just walk into a store and buy black powder (or something more modern)? Asking for a friend

I'm getting "ISIS lone wolf" vibes here. I wouldn't be surprised if this attack was motivated by ISIS's recent loss of territory and power. ISIS also encouraged its followers to carry out attacks in "Crusader" countries during Christmastime.

Lmao, I will never not be amused by bombs failing to go off or injuring/killing the terrorist. It's just such sweet, swift justice. Effective bombs are actually pretty intricate, and thankfully most terrorists aren't smart or skilled enough to build them.

Thank god he was a true re.tard, thinking that anybody would notice him blowing up near an advertisement.

A church- yes.
A synagogue- yes.
A nativity scene- maybe.

An advertisement? Nobody pays attention to those. Hallelujah he’s an idiot, because if he set it off on a train, even as pathetic an explosive as he had could’ve caused a panic that injured people more than the device.

Clearly what we need to do is remove any Christmas related ads or decorations from the public square.

Clearly they're needlessly provocative and...incendiary.
