Exoprimal the third person shoot that involves getting into a exosuit and killing dinosaurs. exos are separated by classes and with various game play modes. its doesn't seem bad playing it but i wouldn't grind it like warthunder. also had to make a Capcom account to play the damn thing. whats everyones thoughts on the gameplay?

Bulletspam Arena hell. Warframe meets a Koei/Tecmo slaughterfest. PVEVP gameplay. You get fucked when someone ADHD adderall spazmonkey who has ninja like reflexes snipes you to fuck you out of completing your objectives. F2P2Win.

hard fucking pass and i'm not even bothering even though it's on Gamepass

I get to play a robot with a minigun who turns into a t-rex. This is the game my 8 year old self always wanted.

I don't play the PVP mode though.

I'm debating on either buying this or Remnant 2 to fill my current fix for a PVE shooter. Right now I'm leaning toward Remnant 2 since the first game has a good track record.

It just looks unfocused on what it wants to be. Overwatch with Dino's? A PvP Game? A PvE game? Also being online only multiplayer game I don't feel like it will catch on and its userbase will drop like a rock.

Plus Capcom decided that trannies was the best way to market it in the West so I'm already a ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh on it.

The correct choice, Remnant 2 looks like a really fun time after how good the first game turned out to be.

Remnant 2 will be the better decision, no question. I'm enjoying this, but I can't see its player base lasting particularly long - the gameplay loop is very, very simple and doesn't have any decent long term progression systems.

So this is an f2p caliber game plus a $60 price tag and a day one battle pass? Neat.

Witch Doctor with a maxed range on his shock lance is basically Palpatine with healing spells. The module's stun penalty is negated at that level, too. Game is starting to introduce some nasty curveball. That simplicity is kind misleading; the game hides a ton of shit behind main story progress, which is a little on the slow side.

From what I understand from people who've played the game, the PvP and PvE are pretty good on their own but really clash when mixed together.

Despite the interesting premise, this looks more monetized than a mobile game so I'mma pass.

Going to wait for a sale and see how it is then. Online-only doesn't leave me hopeful it'll last that long, though.

Despite my interest in the subject matter I think this game kinda looks like shit. I don't understand why Capcom can't just release a new Dino Crisis. They even tease fans by putting a female character in Exoprimal who looks an awful lot like Regina, but they won't just make a new sequel or reboot to her games despite the huge success of the Resident Evil remakes, which had very similar gameplay. Not to mention the public's reemerging interest in dinosaur shit in general.

I really don't get why they go for a hokey game idea like this but seem so averse to the idea of rebooting one of their most classic gems which they have left untouched for such a long time, despite maintained interest from fans for them to do something with the franchise.

Also yeah this game has microtransactions out the ass.

I think that's pretty much why. Not to say that a Dino Crisis comeback wouldn't make money, but these kinds kinds of games are all about chasing the whales and hoping to make millions off their impulse spending. It has the theoretical potential to make them tons, even though my prediction is that it'll be dead in the water next year.

Every company is chasing the Genshin Impact money.

That beast makes 86 million a month. That's a billion a year.

I actually am not sure why it makes that kind of cash.

" Every mode is PvP Mode because you're always going against a team."

Unless you're an autist who is literally incapable of being in the same room as anyone else, having a single, player controlled dinosaur dropped on you is hardly a PvP experience. The two teams don't fight or directly engage one another in PVE otherwise.

Because Mihoyo is doing everything in their power to spite Tencent. And whatever god they've prayed to also hates Tencent and whatever devil they pray to. Plus it's one of the few developers that actually makes attractive characters, even if they're tropes as written.

Seriously, that's the secret, attractive characters. That's all these faggots have to do is bring back that 90's energy. Although preferably abandon the himedanshi shit Mihoyo constantly does; it's creey when it's fujoshi, it's creepy when it's himedanshi.

You're still competing against them, though. Aren't you?

No. You don't lose anything from being the second to fulfill your objectives, but you do get bonus exp for being the first.

It's a bit like pvp if you squint, and topple over.
