They may not be oblivious. In everyday life they’re probably rejected and marginalised for their personality and appearance, so they may be acutely aware of how they appear and come across.
An online presence is something you can craft carefully to make yourself affable, hide the number of convex curves on your belly, and get asspats you desire from the real world. Plus there’s now a community of overweight people to blend in with and the top-tier lolcows to feel skinny in comparison to.

She did the same shit during her video about ALJ's son Jeremiah, talking about how ICE came to her house for "somebody" "years ago". She always has some vague anecdote ready as if it's necessary to qualify her to speak on the subject. First of all it's not necessary, you can talk about shit without having been through it personally, I mean all of us here on the ALR board are skinny legends :optimistic:. Secondly if your stories are too vague for anyone to care or believe you, just leave them out, they don't contribute anything.

Makes me wonder if she's a contributor at the Farms at all, if you injected your own personal stories into your posts on the old Beauty Parlor board you'd get TMI ratings and told to lurk moar faggot.

I expect her to release some sort of 'response' to this controversy she's injected herself in. She will make a video denouncing the farms with anecdotes about all the amazing things she's done, and will justify why she really had no choice but to report Nini.

I thought if you had even 1 strike you can't stream until the strike expires? Did youtube change that rule?
 
so if you get a strike the strike stays on your account for 90 days.
you are not allowed to upload anything (no livestreams, stories, community posts) for 1 week.

if you get a second strike within that 90 day period you cannot upload anything for 2 weeks. each strike expires from the date it's issued. 3rd = channel termination.

we know he got a strike from the video removal around Dec 10th-12th so that strike will expire any day now.
if there was a second strike from then until now, it would explain the sparse uploads but it just isn't likely that he got another community guideline strike and the video stayed up. videos that get struck but stay up are demonetized/restricted are usually reserved for copyright-related stuff. sometimes political videos. it's very unlikely he got a second strike for violating community guidelines because no other videos got taken down.

so i think he was just being overly cautious with his uploads, decided it wasn't worth the potential channel termination, and will most likely resume uploading regularly very soon because the strike issued in December is going to go away. sometime this week.
 
It should be noted that when he came back to youtube after that ALR vlogmas react got taken down for bullying he said there was no strike; just video taken down. I'm not saying it's true but wanted to add what he said.

hmm because it happened around the same time a bunch of creators were getting things removed and now that i think about it i'm not sure if they got channel strikes or just videos removed. or if they got 1 strike for it regardless of how many videos were removed.

it would be reeeeeeeeally odd if youtube did that: video removal, no strike. but maybe i stand corrected on this one

I have no idea why she thinks anyone gives a shit if she's monetized. Maybe she's trying to distract from her being a douche and trying to getting Nini terminated.
