Some may think they’re simply here to offer fresh commentary on Amberlynn, Foodie Beauty, Amy, LifeByJen, etc. but it goes way beyond that. At some point, you see the REAL reason why they dipped into the reaction pool: to eventually become an influencer, vlogger or drama channel.. basically gain YouTube notoriety.
Young Dumb Honey Bun couldn’t resist mixing in her influencer-esque vlog and skincare videos among the Amberlynn compilations, she plugged her Instagram.. inevitably launched merch. Charlie Gold wants to shoot a fitness documentary and she also released merch, trying to start this “better tomorrow” brand. MichaelBePetty pushed his “petty” branding and wants to be a full time drama channel, again with the merch. Just recently, OnProgramSituation linked her second channel, a direction clearly different from reactions. There are many more examples.

Jesus. Just be up front about your new influencer endeavors. Stop trying to be all quirky “Here’s my normie content. I sCaReD hEr AwAY!!”
Once these people successfully infiltrate the haydur community, you see them band together and cry “racism! homophobia!” at the slightest backlash.. especially towards the very subjects (Amberlynn, Chantal) whose backs they rode to the top, by ripping into them first!
I’m not saying all reaction channels are like this, but the majority are. And I know they have every right to capitalize.. plus, we get lolcow content. I guess it just seems pathetic how full of themselves and sheep-headed they all seem to become.
